I found this from Hypnospace Outlaw, and ever since, this makes me feel a weight in my chest in a good way; I wasn't even alive for Y2K, rather, I was conceived on that New Years Eve. In that way, the new millennium and I share the same creation date, and this song makes me wonder if I have "let down" others, my friends and family, the same way Y2K has in this song. It certainly made me think, and its beautiful, too.

Coming here as a veteran Hypnospace Patrol Department enforcer, this song was perfect nostalgia to listen to. Man... the era of Hypnospace is such a mood to remember, huh. This time, it's the original version, it still hits hard in some way, just like the adaptation. I'm gonna miss all my old memories.

I'm so glad hypnospace outlaw introduced me to this song, it evokes such a nostalgic feeling like I've heard it before and the short story it's telling is almost like reading a letter from an old friend. Both versions are perfect for different reasons.
