Always catch more on the method feeder than carp rig even with solid bag or mesh bag, odd really as all methods give bait around hook bait. I prefer the preston mf over the drennan as they have a click release, and are all metal. Had some plastic fins break on the drennans.... Great video Ben

Always amazed at how over-looked the method is in carp fishing. It's served me well for decades. Had a 30 on the method last month. Not the first, just the latest. Have used and liked the Drennans. They work well, semi fixed or running.👍

Well done Ben another interesting video, can I ask a tackle question? What make is your off the ground cradle? Most I have seen on the market do seem very large, where yours seems an ideal size for that style of fishing. With the issue with my left leg an on the ground mat is not an option anymore sadly.

Omg, all them poles😮 all you need is a bait dropper or spod. Personally, i would only use a cage feeder, or for carp, pva bag ?

Enjoying all your videos, I love fishing but because of my epilepsy I can't drive and have to fish with a buddy who knows what to do should I have a seizure, so don't get to go much ,so please keep the videos coming and keep up the great work

good vid mate, did carp fishing for 5 years did all these different rigs, but in the end did get bored, so i now feeder fish well 99 per cent of time, as i find the methods of fishing with the feeder changes with the seasons so maybe add that to your armoury

Another good video Ben. Have you brought the drennen pellet feeders yet? As I've mentioned before i love them and they definitely helped me on Sunday get 4 fish on the bank. It was a cold day up here in Norfolk, and 3 of them came in deep water about 15feet, but they also work well in shallow water. It would be nice to see you have ago with them and see what you think 👍

I find these videos so relatable - i've recently got back into fishing after being mad into it in my youth .. never seemed like I had any time until recently when my daughter suggested we go... we've had a brilliant time catching carp on the method feeder and pellet waggler and are just preparing to have a go on the 'big' lake using D-rigs .. so much to learn!

I use the D rig , simple and it works ( in the right conditions) enjoyed the video 🎣🎣

Lift method/ small cage feeder or small pva bag. Not flat bed, but each to their own😮

Hi Ben, B&M do a Vanilla Coffee Crema in a squirty bottle for about £1.75 and can be used as a Method Glaze. Beats the "Tenner a Pop" stuff all day long. They also sell kids drinking straws full of little banana, strawberry, forest berry flavoured balls, called "QUICK MILK" - 10 for a quid and add to the "Crema" to make a bit of a Custard which I soak my sweetcorn in.

Next time you go for crucians take some expander pellets n ur pole .another nice video Ben keep em coming.

I started my fishing on an old farm lake full of crusain 30 odd years ago on float fishing the lift method with a peacock quill float and a ssg on a Sunday morning before the Sunday roast it was great 👍

Great video Ben. I used guru ngauge 12lb for my rigs, had an 18lb with a self made rig and no snaps since. Great job getting that carp out of the snags, I just lost a mental bet 😂👍
