I have fished in conditions like that but not very often luckily! I fished sandwich main lake and also blanked , moved to the match lake and caught a couple of bream 🙄 won’t be going back there , I have found that hook links need to be changed after every 2-3 fish otherwise they can break off , and like you I’ve had new ones fail , I can recommend the Diawa mission brolly that has sides you can peg out and loads of space inside it’ll keep you a lot drier, really enjoying your fishing videos Ben no hype just down to earth real world fishing 👍

Well played for persevering in those conditions, as long as you are catching doesn't matter about the weather, tried to get some of those advanta feeders but out of stock😕, it's annoying when the hook length goes on the feeder it's happened to me but they seem to break at the knot on the loop. 👍

If anyone is thinking about one of these, it’s worth it. Retail around £150 the extras separately about £40. It’s light comfortable I’ve been using mine since launched. I weigh in around 17st and no problems. As I don’t park too far from the bank I leave the legs connected.

i have a korum s 23 ...but i would get one of these for the river ..its lighter to carry and pretty quick set up time..
