California to Kentucky (Exploring off road trails and attending a beautiful wedding)

This week we had the opportunity to attend a beautiful Kentucky wedding at the Mills Springs National Park. We landed in Nashville Tennessee and drove a few hours to reach our destination. I want to say thank you to my new brother and sister law for their awesome hospitality. We had a lot of fun exploring some of the cool backroads Monticello, Kentucky had to offer. We also got to check out the Monticello Conley Bottom Resort. Overall, great weekend away with the family with a little bit of wheeling.

Quick day trip to Sequoia National Park. Unfortunately, we only had enough time to visit the "Twin Sequoias" and "The General Sherman Tree." The park was very busy since we visited during summer peak season in July. Be prepared to encounter huge hordes of people all trying to take photos of the giant sequoias. This was our first time exploring Cleghorn OHV Trail. We started the trail from the I-15 entrance and ended at the I-138 by Silverwood Lake. We opted to follow the scenic fire roads and did not try any of the off shoots. This is definitely an easy beginner trail with some rutted areas. A vehicle with minimal clearance and 2WD can complete this trail. I plan to do more research on the off shoots...

Watch me test my camper build 4Runner up Lytle Creek. The rutted areas towards the end of the trail are very deep and require a lot of clearance and suspension travel. I can assure you that the rutted areas are deeper than they look. My 4Runner is a Trail Edition 4x4, on Billsteins 1500's, Nitto Ridge Grappler's (33's), a 2-inch lift, and no lockers.
