Hi Ellen very insightful and honest! ❤️ For ADHD, the best thing I ever did was started a support group for adults (both zoom and in person after the pandemic) and have met like minded folks from across Canada who share similar experiences. As for cptsd I'm still trying to figure out if I have it and how it may affect my experiences with depression, anxiety, and imposter syndrome. Looking forward to hearing more! :)

” I see my diagnosis as a blessing in disguise” very true because I can not count how many times it mattered that I saw something differently than other people for someone else’s sake. I would probably end up judging other people the same way without actually trying to understand them if I thought that people just simply were who way they say they are.

There is no such thing as crazy. We are all on a sprectum of mental illness. From severe to practically unnoticeable. I haven't met a person in my life who is "normal" and the people that really really try to have it all together. When you get to known them they have there "unique" quality's. The people who are remembered in history usually went mad or lost their minds. I feel privileged to not be normal. If all you have to say about someone is that they are nice. You should aim higher. To quote Freddy Mercury. "other people's opinions of me is none of my business ".
