What if your running e85? Would the computer do auto adjustment on timing? I just want to drive it to the tuner
All of our cars are on e85. The AFR you want is basically the same as pump gas so the computer will calculate what you want the AFR to be no matter what the fuel
Boost response is the problem a lot of piping, not boost loss. It just takes longer for the boost to reach the engine, so the response is slightly lower.
any issue with getting aluminum shavings into the pump and then going and getting into the radiator fins?
I’ve been driving it quite a bit with no issues, can’t say for certain though

What trans and converter? And what all did you do to the 8.8? Got my nova on a 78/75 6lb spring. Stock th350 and ten bolt are living on a prayer
Trans is a built th350, has a Jegs XHD 3200 stall converter. The 8.8 was shorted to fit an S10, stock parts though. I think they use 2 of the shorter end axles to do that

E85, but it doesn’t matter. AFR command is about the same for E85 or 93.

About how much power are you making
Probably around 650 in this video. This was around 14lbs of boost, car is on 25lbs right now and is pretty dumb on the street

My alternator exciter wire is wired directly to power wire, but sometimes I forget to hit the kill switch on my bumper. Dead battery within a day or 2. 😅
Lol, sounds about right. I honestly like having a kill switch on the other cars, 0 worry about anything and I sleep better 🤣

4 dyno pulls never got an accurate reading on the hp sensor but made 570 torque so we are guessing upper 500s for hp

Glad to see ya post a video again. Was beginning to wonder. The S10 sounds and looks ready to go. I once put 6 quarts of new oil in my buddy's Ram and he'd forgotten to put the drain plug back in. I was working up top, he was working under the truck. Trying to get a bunch of little things done quickly. Turned into a multi-day event because the stores were all closed because it was a holiday weekend and he was really anal about the fluids he put in his truck. Thanks for sharing. I've been super busy with many different things so I'm still catching up on videos. And my anal thing is watching them in order!! Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.

Since my cam duration is under 235, on my lq4, would these parameters work safely as well on my application? I ran on a 60psi system NA for about 3k miles, and am going boost now. If this is a "safe to cruise" starting point before going to the dyno. That would be appreciated! Thanks
Yea, you shouldn’t have any issues at all with that
What rpm is your 2 step set at for those flames?
Set at like 2800. You can definitely go higher and will be more rowdy

What do you mean by go? You might need to change the timing up a little, I have mine pulling timing when it’s activated

what is the best MPG you got out of tuning your 6.0? i wonder if ignoring egr and downstream o2 sensors would help? any suggestions? i heard these can get 22mpg on the highway .... i need that lol
Honestly not 100%, I should definitely calculate that doing a normal drive. Unfortunately it’s turbo now so I have to do another truck hahaha

Are you still running springs up front or do you have Coilovers? And what rear wheel and tire setup do you have?
Still running springs, rear wheels are 15x10 with 5.5inch back space, tires are 28x10 slicks at the moment

How did these performance tuning changes effect the fuel milage if this truck, you mentioned it would be your daily, I have a 1500HD as well with 4.10 rear end and it has very lazy power and poor fuel milage but does “ run” well, would be interested in trying these changes but I’m looking for milage and drivability not peak horsepower, thoughts ?
Honestly a good question. Not sure as this is turbocharged now. The 4.10 gear is gonna kill that unfortunately, I have the 3.73.
