I'd say stay true to size. In terms of tightness, I'd say the laced version will be better since you can adjust it. But the laceless version is pretty great with how snug they are. Hope this helps!

Yeah that soleplate is better. I haven't seen a lot of people like this new FG soleplate honestly 😕

Such a great boot right? It's probably a cost saving measure more than anything. There are many AG plates that fo have a heel counter so that would be my guess. Keep your eyes peeled as the new Alpha generation release soon!

Meaning the stud pattern. Circular studs are safer and don't give you as much traction to take off quickly. An aggressive pattern has bladed/chevron studs which are a little more dangerous but help you with a stronger take off. Make sense?

I hear ya, the price is definitely a tough pill to swallow. In regards to the soleplate, I think they try to stay within their roots so more of an update with materials versus process. People buying these usually want things to stay the same but you make a good point - updates in modern tech should be considered!

For Neos I would recommend half size down. I normally wear a size 8US and I wear a 7.5 US which fits me perfect 👌

No they don't but they do run higher up your ankle than an average regular cut boot!

All good points! I guess the price just seems wild because you're not necessarily paying all for high tech specs and more for the nostalgia than anything else. I will say they did feel great on feet 👌

I wouldn't recommend these if you have wide feet. However, if you still want to try these out then yes I'd say say true to size and not go half size down.

I'd say pretty close yes. I would argue the Diadoras are probably slightly wider but not by much. I'd also say the Copas would probably stretch more as they don't have as much stitching.

@alessiodimatteo1042 I disagree having tried both. They're pretty similar. There's a difference between how much they stretch (yes Copas would have that over the Brasils) vs how they fit right out of the box. Make sense?

I went true to size! I can maybe squeeze into half size down though to have the leather stretch 😊

I did 1/2 size down. I found it took maybe four or five days of wearing them at home before they felt good enough to take out to the pitch. The fit and touch are incredible now though.

Yeah the width for my feet personally was spot on! If you like a snug fit, I'd recommend 1 full size down so they stretch a little bit too 😉

Thanks for commenting! I was even thinking of going 1/2 size down as I like the leather stretching to my feet versus getting a perfect fit from the start that then over stretches 😅 Runners knot is a great tip too 👌

Correct this is not the OG one from years ago. They unfortunately stopped making it in k-leather 😕. These do go on sale all the time though and you can grab a pair for 50% off in most cases 👊
