jesus christ that is a fun yet terrifying mechanic-the idea of having hints on what youo need to do through literally seeing deaths of your character in previous timelines-

Fun fact: if you slow the video to 0.25, Furnace crashing into the wall basically rips him apart

seeing all of the possibilities that could've killed sonic if he didn't have the time stone really lets you know that this is the good future.

Oh man, there is some _beautiful_ irony to Furnace getting fucking scrapped the same way Sonic dies in the original story; by slamming backfirst into something while moving backwards.

This feels like a alternative alternative world to sonic where eggman just gave up and said "screw it, if I can't kill sonic with giant mechs and lasers, im just gonna have to *cook him*"
