Anyone here have a good reason explaining why the founder of this channel was keeping Jewish hostages in his house?

Unfortunately not a lot of good people on either side. Each side wants everything for themselves, and refuses to acknowledge that the other people have a right to exist there. Until people acknowledge this there will be permanent war between the two sides.
