I think the New York Times is 100% complicit. Editors have to have a brain on them and any story which is bias isn’t a good story. They know that…so it was by choice, not an oversight

If Israel really cared about the truth and the victims from October 7, it would have immediately facilitated an independent investigation into events with impartial cooperation on the gathering and analysis of evidence, without delay. That is the minimum they should have done to respect any victims. But they have used the victims in the most callous way, drip feeding propaganda depending on the strength or weakness of global support for Israel.

Jewish law requires immediate burial of bodies. Moreover the entire nation was incredibly traumatized. Would you prefer they collect rape kits on every single victim of these atrocities? you do realize people were burned to death, to ashes, beyond DNA recognition in some cases, and that it isn't possible to collect rape kits on those people? the country immediately entered a war. they spent months just COUNTING their dead. what the fuck is wrong with you?

Look up who the co-funder of Zaka was. Know about the way Zaka worked after 10/7. Ask yourself why not an independent organisation was allowed around there. Know that families of Israeli hostages left Israel in order to take legal steps against Israel.
On top of what is said in this video regarding relegious code, ask yourself how a young person, who was never able to leave Gaza, who came outside paragliding, felt - the rush of adrenaline one must have had - it's hard to believe that a mass rape came to their minds. Specially with taking hostages was one of their main goals.
Then, the so called testemonies of people who were in a state that they were dancing early in the morning. And this, so close to the open air concentration camp that Gaza already was. The fact that the festival was moved to that location at the last moment. Etc.etc.
Censorship of media is a thing in Israel. Look up the brainwashing school books. Consider the handed out Hasbara manual. The paid team trolling online. All of the Israeli lies already debunked. There's no reason to believe anything at all of whatever Israel brings to the table.

While there MIGHT of been individual cases if violence and abuse occurring , it wasn't a mass policy of ANY of the Palestinian Resistance forces to order their fighters to commit such acts. As such murder and violence are sadly part of any conflict but HOW and IF these are encouraged or mandated is the important reasoning. Anything Isn't rael or its Imperial protectors should be met with deep suspicion considering how they've been master victimhood propagandists for centuries

One comment but not about the story itself. I really dislike the excited music accompanying these transmissions. Why is it necessary? It gives a movie sort of cast to scenes that should be horrifying in and of themselves. They need no adornment, least of all the soaring violins.

Couldn't agree more. Music is distasteful given the context. Thank you.

If you look up Torah laws of warfare you will find quite a lot in Deuteronomy 20. And specifically in D20. 14 when it talks about r*pe. So when the Rabbis have told the soldiers in the recent past and repeatedly actually, that it was fine to r*pe to “relieve stress” it is literally in their laws which is why they get so focused on it when they talk about 5amas.
    From Deuteronomy 20 section 14
“14 As for the women, the children, the livestock and everything else in the city, you may take these as plunder for yourselves. And you may use the plunder the Lord your God gives you from your enemies.”

The Boston Globe also quoted many of these debunked NY Times stories and to my knowledge has still not retracted them. The Globe was once a highly respected newspaper.

I really wish i can share this but 1. The editing is so bad it looks like a fake crime parody and 2. The script makes it even less believable, although i already believe that israel lied about the rape
