Hey ! I'm a french student , is it a good idea to go into a Master in Finance at Baruch, if i want to become an investment banker for exemple etc ? Schools in france especially for masters are not really beneficial either so im trying for a US uni or business school .

Good luck on finding your path. Trying to find the balance of passion and life isn't easy. If I may, check out Ramit Sethi. I find his approach to finance and life is very balanced, such as not taking a job you don't have passion for and living your life by focusing on what is important to you.

I wish I would’ve found this before my first trip to nyc. My first day of using the subway didn’t go well but because of the express trains but by day two I had mastered the subway. Probably my favorite part of my trip was riding the trains.

I went to game 4 of the World Series last night and decided to take the train back to the hotel because I’d used the train earlier that day with no problems. Somehow I ended up at Grand Central Station and said screw it and took a cab.

It’s complicated

I live in an equally tiny apartment - 1. A full size fridge means a full size freezer. Mini fridges don't properly freeze anything unless they're right next to the cooling elements. 2. So tired of hand washing dishes. I wind up using the same glass bowls. 3. I don't really care about the couch - I'd rather have more floorspace. 4. In a place this small, you wind up making the best of vertical space. I have two armoires stacked on top of each other.

Baruch is definitely top college in terms of public and NYC location it's up there and you get alot of real world opportunities there due to its location unlike other colleges
