Talking to Myself: BTVoiceovers
Добавлен 6 июн 2023
Poems, short stories, novels...just an ever-growing stash of amateur recordings by an aspiring voiceover artist, with audio quality varying from somewhat decent to sounding like it was recorded on a toy microphone. Whether it's for hire, by request, or just as a hobby, I love recording these narrations and readings. I bid you welcome. --BT
Bleak Weather - Ella Wheeler Wilcox
"Bleak Weather," written circa 1870 by American author and poet Ella Wheeler Wilcox (1850 - 1919).
This simple love poem was one of the many to be published in her most famous book, "Poems of Passion" (1883). I couldn't think of a better poem to start out the new year :)

Happy Veterans Day, with heartfelt gratitude to all those who have toiled and sacrificed in the service of our country. Lincoln had befriended the McCullough family in Illinois long before his presidency. When their fa...

The Road Not Taken - Robert Frost

This iconic and thought-provoking poem, first published by American poet Robert Frost in the August 1915 issue of the Atlantic Monthly, is often considered to be among the most misinterpreted poems in American literature. I'm uploading this second recording in an attempt to convey (what many interpret to be) the original tone intended by Frost, as well as to replace the previous recording which...
The Song of Wandering Aengus - W. B. Yeats

A reading of the beautiful and iconic Irish poem by William Butler Yeats (1865 - 1939), written in 1897. This was also included in my W. B. Yeats 9-poem compilation video, but I figured it was famous enough to deserve its own video. "I certainly thought, when I wrote ["The Song of Wandering Aengus"], of Ireland, and of the spirits that are in Ireland." W. B. Yeats
