    None from the two movies from Dalton?. He took Dario to task by a blow and a headbutt, along with the assassin/imposter in the 1987 movie - despite those not being long at all, he ain't no pushover - don't forget 007 taking down multiple opponents in Octopussy. Nonetheless a good selection.

    • @100woodywu
      @100woodywu 10 месяцев назад

      Yes Dalton is underrated as bond and a shame he wasn’t bond in more movies. He was very close to the spy character in Ian Fleming’s Novels being a dark character rather than the comedy act that Moore portrayed.

    Lazenby’s two fights belong in the top five. So does Connery-Shaw on the train! Craig is also excellent. It’s remarkable how stale and repetitive the later fights were, that were coordinated by Bob Simmons. The scenes here from “Goldfinger,” “Thunderball,” and “Diamonds Are Forever” are perfect examples. Parts of them are downright ridiculous!

    • @100woodywu

      Yes they are ridiculous I will agree but it was the sixties so from that viewpoint it was the thing that entertained people of that time so for me they great and fun 👍

      @@100woodywu Thanks for your reply; enjoyed your compilation! Actually, “From Russia With Love” (1963) was Simmons’s work, and it was great. Downhill from there! He was glad to avoid “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” (1969), believing that a model and “chocolate box carrier” [Lazenby] was beneath him. Well, thank you, Bob - the film was much better without you! And your “skills” added nothing to Moore’s mediocre movies. Simmons contributed to TV shows like “The Saint” and “Danger Man,” and those fights are not terribly thrilling, either!

      Two tough opponents, very well trained and each in peak condition, and each knowing one of them is going to die, possibly a slight edge to Grant, as he's likely also insane and also Bond is a little more accustomed to the niceties in life so perhaps not quite as fit, but he's also smarter and more resourceful whereas Grant is brute strength and skill, a very even match and with everything at stake, Grant has been eliminating good opponents up to this point in the movie and Bond is unaware even of his existence and so at a disadvantage, and restricted to the tight confines of the two small cabins, the fight is desperate and brutal, between two pros, and set the standard for how fights should be choreographed for all time

    Good work gentlemen. Do you guys have an application for the crossed fists, in long slow hand form that looks like you're handcuffed, during kicking , left kick, right kick, before heel kick, etc.done a few times in the routine. No one from Wu circles posted the possible apps. I have seen a karate video with similar double fist moves deflecting head shots. Could these moves be 'side cutting fists' or block with upper cut, etc. Hoping you can help

    • @100woodywu
      @100woodywu 4 года назад

      ZORBATAICHI65 BROWN good question. One application from the cross over fists before heel kick is a figure four arm lock . If ever you see the Wu form you will notice that the fists are close in towards your body, indicating that the opponents elbow is close in tight to your body via arm lock giving the opponent no room for manoeuvre . As the same time your knee raises up high before heel kick, this is important because the first part of your body to strike in kicks is the knee , if possible to the groin area , then heel , and strike with blade side of forearms at downward motion to side of neck or face. The form has 108 postures and any application can be applied at any given time in combat ie figure four arm lock can be applied any time or heel kick could be applied any time, there are no rules to this. The important thing in Taiji is applying principles ie sticking, following, as well as incorporating the eight gates of Taiji, these are pung, lu, ji, an, cai, lie, zhou and kao. Or ; absorb, roll back, press, push, pluck, split, elbow stroke, shoulder stroke. These principles are important because no application would work in Taiji without this, with this training comes the ability to change and flow from one technique to another manipulating the opponent . I hope this helps.
