Believe it or not, two days ago I found the vinyl album on the swap meet at our recycling center (!). I listened to it straight away and liked it straight away (although not all of the tracks to the same extent). Noticeable: The order of the tracks on the record is different to that given on the back of the cover. Here is the track list to your video with time stamps, named vocalists (and some slightly corrected song titles): Side 1: 00:00 Love Walk (voc: Bob Jones) 03:39 You Was Wrong (voc Roger Troy) 06:40 Peach Tree Man (voc MB) 10:25 When I Need You (instr.) 15:38 Sammy Knows How To Party (voc Anna Rizzo) Side 2: 18:43 I Need Your Loving (voc Roger Troy) 22:00 Bad Man (voc Nick Gravenites) 26:41 Saturday Night (voc MB) 28:26 You're Changin' (voc Marcia Ann Taylor) 33:58 Let The People Dance (voc Bob Jones) Side 1 of my vinyl record (pressed in Holland in 1978) ends with "Sammy Knows How To Party" and finally "When I Need You". But there may be different releases in Europe and the USA.
Great blooze. Man
GOD, I HATE DISCO. Straight from the devils asshole to human ears. Making "macho men" into flaming queers.
Was lucky enough to see billy back in Paris in the 90’s…. Definitions of cool
My Nephew and I saw Dr John towards the end of his life in a Casino Auditorium in Kansas City Missouri, you could tell that he was ill , he had to have help to stand and walk, let me tell you he was wonderful, he played swamp and stride piano, at one point he was lifted and a guitar was strapped on , he was a fantastic guitar player, RIP good Dr , you are missed
Great Artist, her husband is a killer guitarist, if you can buy her records and see her at a club, I saw her at The Armadillo World Headquarters in the 1970s maybe early 1980s , just wonderful
We lost Mike too soon, as a result of his "hobbies" For those of you that do not know the "Super Session" project, check that out as well.
Brilliant. Amazing
Y'all quit crying it's freaking Mike Bloomfield legend. Every other legend in the universe was doing the same thing at this time, trying different things because blues was dead
They could of made a few more lps like this one...3 of a kind
Brasil, obrigada por tanto sentimento!
R.I.P. good Doc....
HOJE É O ANIVERSÁRIO DELA DE 65 ANOS👵🏻🎂🎉🎈
Curious IF Tommy Rizzo is relative of Jose Rizzo ???? Jose of Jazz on the Latin Side on 88.1 in Long Beach City College...
I had a chance to talk to Mike when l was 15, l am now 71 l was a wild kid in the sixties no fear, and opinionated. I had played with lots of people.ln 1977, l had played at the paramount with Steve Miller band in 1972 and Steve said he didn't take a full decisions about a career in music until he saw the gratefully dead at a park lmarin county. I ASKED MIKE FOR A COMMENT. HE WAS INCREDIBLY ARTICULATE.HE SAID EVERY MAN MUST MAKE DECISIONS THAT MAY BE LIFE CHANGES. DO YOu want children? Do you like to travel? Honestly he was such a gentleman.
Taz who?
Bloomfield puts present players to shame. At least guys like bonisama give credit to mike.damn it he was an original.
This is soaked in reverb? I think not. I dont even hear any reverb on the slow blues ninth chord hes using! I just love his style.lt is so unique in tone and intensity.😊
Fact . Bob dylan said the best guitarist he ever played with was bloomfield. He played on like a rol Ling stone by dylan.also on several other records,RIP mike, you were the best.
A neglected beacon of the blues. His heart and soul were too beautiful for this mean old world.
Mike used a telecaster when l first heard him on Paul butterfield,he then made super session with al cooper,I loved that album, mlke almost always played through a super reverb 4 10 inch speaker, reverb on 2 and a half believe or not.l had the pleasure of. Knowing Mike and he had a rough life.I blame it all his fair weather friends AND THE RECORD COMPANIES.MIKE JUST PLUGGED IN THE FENDER SUPER REVERB NO PEDDLES. LIKE I TRY TO PLAY. MIDDLE SWITCH ON A LES PAUL.THATS MIKES CLEAN SOUND. HE WENT ALL THE WAY TO ENGLAND TO SEE HOW THEY WERE GETTING SOUNDS RESULT...ELECTRIC FLAG ,JIMI HENDRIX PRAISED THE ELECRIC FLAG AS HIS FAVORITE NEW GROUP . Rolling stone.
I met your drummer Tommy Rizzo today at our local grocery store!!

This is a really great album. Produced by Norman Dayron.
I'm The World's Biggest Bloomfield Fan, That said, it's clear that Mike was a shadow of what he used to be. His playing is sloppy and unimaginative. If you want Mike at his very best, listen to East West.
If so, even the shadow is great!
I recently listened to an interview of his where he kept talking about how much he loved Randy Newman. I can hear that influence so much in the first song.
Love & miss you Mike, wish I could have saved you, as you tried to save me, Heaven has an angle. Ugly people, ugly country.💔✡️🥀
0:00 - in Lights Out il pensiero mi è andato alla versione di Johnny Winter in "Guitar Slinger", del 1984
Stop the Hate RIP Mike Bloomfield 💔 Taken...too soon🥀
Great version of lights out but I love Johnny Winters better
Lights out is a composition of Mac Rebbenack aka Dr. John The Night Triper. He composed this song when he was about 16 y. o. Michael played a really groovy Piano as well . I miss them a lot RIP
@@joemcdope8930 yeah man it's a great song. I love Johnny Winters version of it. I really like the Johnny Winter and Dr John collaboration performance they did in the mid-80s
❤❤❤❤❤❤
This album has that New Orleans flavor.
What a beautiful guitar I happened to hear only through the Paul Butterfield band which I have been loving for almost 50 years. Is Mike Bloomfield singing?
اغنية جد منعشة... اسمعه منذ اكثر من 40 سنة... كنت لا زلت في الثانوية. يا لهل من ذكريات رائعة. .................... شكرا على مشاركتنا اياها.
One of the all too rare great singing drummers. I always liked this tune.
fabulous music
Really special, a pearl! Thanks for share.
I’ve not forgotten this great bluesman. Thanks for putting this up. Sometimes I gotta cry when I hear stuff like this. Mike and Al Kooper have given me wonderful music memories. Try to pass it on to my kids and grandkids. ✌️always.
The conversation between piano, harp and Mike on Your Friends is !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of the best Dylan covers ever
Wasn't aware of the Takoma albums, must have been some of his last work. Of course his work with Butterfield and Al Kooper is some of the greatest music of all time and I have been listening to that for decades.
The Takoma albums were Michael's favorite ones.
I've been into Bloomfield for years and never saw or heard of this until now. All I can say is, WTH was Mike doing playing with this crappy band! The music sucks, the vocals are awful, and they didn't even give him any guitar solos! A solo from him would have been the one bright spot in this garbage!
No solos? Obviously you didn't listen to this album.
Super great!! I heard John Hammond Junior in public, live at the Cafe Au Go Go NYC way back many years ago; with Jimi Hendrix on guitar.
I saw him open for the Byrds at the Pilgrimage Theater circa 1970. Also on the bill were Kaleidoscope, and Firesign Theater. He was so stoned he could barely hold his guitar
Superb!!!!
He was washed up by this time. So brilliant but taken away due to heavy drug use. Please take this down.
It is a part of his story, I am glad this recording exists and it sounds good to me! Please don't take this down.
legend means never die
Lo escuché ayer por primera vez y me impactó... Gracias por compartir buena música.
Actually have the CD. Finding it was an adventure! I had thought only my college roommates remembered this album (I got him a copy too)! One of my favorites! Thanks Bob Dylan and thank you for posting this!
I had a children’s blues cassette tape in the 90s. This was one of the songs on it. Brought back some awesome memories for me.
