Great attitude Travis. I'm a C3,4,5 and 6 functioning quad with marked right side hemipareisis. Went through the Halo cast issue after the gardner & wells tongs and circle bed. I was never to walk either, just a stubborn old Marine though, and never quit trying, so was able to with legs braces., etc. Have had syringomyelia, myelomalacia, and have brown-sequard syndrome. Accident was caused by a compression fracture when jumping into 3 1/2 ft. of water. Drowned as well. I was 31, and now 75. Stay strong, and remember "it's always too soon to quit"!

It's a terrible shame for this to happen to you I pray somehow theyll come up with a cures

The sad moment is that able people Hardly think of disable people Not everyone But when people came disable than they are in the World of the Disable many can't cope But now they know how people With disableties feel ,many are judge ,mental But they forget it's not their fault

We're ALL just one fall / accident away from a wheelchair. I'm sorry this happened to you. I pray you're doing well ✝✝. Did you just fall on the pavement or off an embankment or into something ? My uncle had polio and he had surgery that left him paralyzed. Para. He was in a wheelchair for many years and he would have UTI's and pressure sores. I will keep you in my prayers 🙏
