I honestly sort of loved guarma. Everyone was working together and it gave me a little hope that maybe things would get better. I also loved the outfit arthur wore and how everything was stripped from you. Also the senor por favor is burned into my mind

I dont like abigal in RDR2 she allways whine whine whine!(antagonize her by arthur he said that) She complain about being in a camp with robbers and killers but why she dont leave wend hosea was alive? She dont do nothing in the camp , and she ask arthur for favors because she know arthur got a little feelings for her and she take avantage of him.

Chapters 3 and 4 are forever my favorites. The graveyard mission, trudging through the swamp at night, wandering around saint denis, sneaking around the plantations, the random encounters at night like the cross burnings and the being tricked by the night people. Love it all.

Overhated movie

I know I'm late but in the last chapter when Dutch tells everyone to pick a side Javier is the only to point his gun in the air, instead of at Arthur and John like everyone else on the opposite side.

New Austin shouldn't even have been in the game because it serves zero purpose to the story. and it only gets unlocked in the epilogue. apparently New Austin was supposed to be only for RDOnline mode but then it was included in the single player mode at last minute. maybe because Rockstar chopped off what Guarma supposed to be, a huge island map that could have been revisited later on and had lots of locations, shops and strange missions. instead Guarma in chapter 5 was completely annoying. and from a storyline perspectivey, John being able to visit New Austin in the epilogue completely destroys continuity. in RDR1 John already says that he visited those places like Armadillo, Tumbleweed or McFarland Ranch for the first time ever.

ARE YOU SERIOUS??!! It is a fucking masterpiece.

Unpopular opinion: Ratatouille is extremely overrated. While I do like this movie, people keep acting like it’s the greatest movie of all time with zero flaws, and anyone who puts it lower than S or A tier have horrible taste in movies.

John is the best. Arthur is the second best. IDGAF where everyone else sits; it's up to you. Now I'm going to actually watch the video after posting my unwanted opinion in the comments section. Edit- now I've seen the video. Sadie as number 3??? Above Charles??? I'm leaving a dislike.

You failed to mention Dutchs’ chilling “GET DOWN HERE NOW! You imbred trash!” in Blood Feuds Also avoiding all of the enemies in Archaeology For Beginners rather than fighting them leads Rains Fall to give you a unique trinket that helps all three of your main stats, giving the mission even more depth and making Arthur that much better as a person

If you group Epilogue Parts 1-2, then it’s only fair you also group Chapters 1-2. They function together narratively and as tutorial chapters. Just my two cents, because Epilogue Part 1 is being carried in your ranking by Part 2

Yea I just love Tumbleweed in the epilogue I just leave beechers hope and make the small town my home I have everything I need to buy supplies. I don't cause trouble there only in other states that way I keep it a safe place for when things get to heated 😏

Great list! I’d probably put Dutch number 1 based purely on how incredibly well written he is and how captivating his fall is but Micah’s also a fantastic villain

The unfortunate thing about Tumbleweed is its downfall could’ve been avoided if the railway had been built but instead it was built serving Armidillo only. For some reason it wasn’t extended to Tumbleweed. Also by the time RDR1 takes place Tumbleweed had been abandoned.

Rearranging the top 5, the right way: 5:Sadie Caused too much chaos but wasn’t blind like the rest of the gunslingers 4:Hosea (If he didn’t die early I would put him third) 3:John (If we didnt play with him in the epilogue he’d be 4th 2:Charles 1:Arthur

My opinions on each chapter: Chapter 1: Definitely the weakest chapter. While it had a few good set pieces, it’s mostly dull, especially on replays. Just make an extra save once you beat it and start from Chapter 2 on repeat playthroughs. Chapter 2: Damn, this one is great. You finally get to explore the world and you get to take part is some really good missions. Really makes you feel like an outlaw. Chapter 3: Also a really great one. You’re constantly wondering about the feud between the Greys and the Braithwaites, and it has the best camp in the game, as well as one of the top 3 best missions in the game (Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern) You feel smug as you think you’re successfuly playing both if the families like a fiddle, only for it all to come crashing down. (On a first play through, that is) Chapter 4: Yet another great one. Exploring a city at the turn of the century is so fun, and you feel smug yet again as you con your way through the city, only for it to backfire again. Chapter 5: Honestly, this isn’t that bad. Guarma looks amazing, and it feels like a test if your skill and efficiency by giving you a limited amount of resources to progress the missions with. The discovery of Arthur’s TB is so jarring and emotional. And the song that plays when you finally get back to the mainland and are riding to find the gang? Perfect, chef’s kiss. Chapter 6: Possibly the most emotional section of any game I’ve played. Watching Arthur redeem himself and watching everything come crashing down is so surreal, and Arthur’s death made me cry so damn much on my first playthrough. Epilouge: It may start out slow, but it’s nice to see John turn his life around and build a new future for himself and his family. The house building song is a banger, killing Micah is satisfying, and being rewarded with 20 grand at the end is a great reward. My only complaint is that the RDR1 map is so boring and barely has anything in it. It feels like it was rushed out. So yeah, aside from Chapter 1 being the weakest link, I don’t think there’s a bad chapter of this game. I love it a lot.

I recently finished RDR2 for the first time, and when Arthur died, I was absolutely sobbing. Once the epilogue started, I went outside and looked at the stars, wondering if Arthur really deserved it. When he died, it felt like I had lost my best friend.

if you play Arthur with average honor before he gets sick with TB, Arthur was at worst brainwashed by Dutch to do bad things. ends justify the means type of mentality. playing Arthur with low honor also makes no sense anyway. because you will still see low honor Arthur save John but you get to decide if you continue to help John or go after the money in the cave. you even save John from Sisika Penitentiary. and going back into the cave for the money makes no sense anyway because we as players and Arthur knows he is going to die anyway because of sickness. having that money makes no difference whatsoever. hell, even with low honor, Arthur still risks his life to save Abigail from the Pinkertons. low honor evil and selfish Arthur makes no logical sense. Arthur even saves Captain Monroe although he might be low honor. the honor system wasn't implemented all that well. the final missions aren't actually deep enough to make drastic choices. RDR2 isn't some RPG game in which you decide multiple endings like let's say in Cyberpunk 2077 or Fallout games.

6:47 tou should get on the PlayStation service that lets you play n stream games like Netflix. The original Red Dead Redemption was amazing and especially the online modes like gold rush, hold your own, gang shootouts it truly was amazing and in some ways better that red dead 2 because you cant play pvp on rdr 2 like you can in the original there wasnt the same games i dont believe because anytime i played online it was more open world co-op with random players roaming around but the original red dead redemption was really good and one of my favorite games of all time.
