Bote Rover Aero wet storage attachment
I have attached a square milk crate to the rear of the Rover. This can be done to the back of the hard shell rover as well.
I used 1/4 x 20, 1 inch stainless steel screws and stainless steel fender washers

    Love the atmosphere in these series. Serlings distinct american naration, against Cousteau's very french. The curious music. Stuff of many boys childhood in the early 70's, and it's pure nostalgia and I love it as much now, as I did back then. Thanks for posting this!!!

    11:02 That being the case, they should have gone up as a buddy pair at that point to possibly air share. After that in any case there should have been a buddy assisted ascent to prevent exactly what happened😢 The lobsters should have been dumped as well as part of the emergency 😮

    This series was erroneous with these creatures, they were misunderstood first Cuban then Mexican migration. But, they got mistreated while the team declared animal & sea animal rights. Perhaps I am wrong but these animals are mother earth's profit in evolution. One only haves to stop and think about their nature not destroy them, just by watching them puts a smile on your face.Salomoni v. Venturella, 2017 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 118285, 2017 WL 3197217

    This might seem odd, yet I want to credit the musicians playing the soundtrack . Very impressed by the bass clarinet, oboe and the superb flutist who captured in sound movements of fluttering bird wings. --Now about those 1 billion toads ! What year was this doc produced ? I will look it up but the results of the autopsy pique my curiosity as do the reasons for the fish die-off . Fantastic post . Harold Edgerton I know from his hi-speed photography where he captured a bullet in flight piercing an object in his lab . It truly revolutionized and elevated this tool of science to another level. I once owned equipment used during this period of diving and gave it away recently. Thanks for this adventure !!!

    Keep in mind, fish is a relative term, especially in ancient times, where the common man didn't know our terms of today. we cannot look at things from our standpoint, but we must look at them from their point of view. Fish might mean a true fish of great size, or it might mean a whale. That fact wasn't the important part, the fact that it did happen, why it happened, who caused it, and the purpose of it, and its results is the important parts of the account. God prepared a great fish. it may be a fish species no longer in existence. It was a small player in a bigger action, to warn a people. It taught a man, he cannot run from God, nor thwart God's purposes.

    The Austrian Hans Hass made the first underwater film, in the Antilles in 1940, and made several more before Cousteau. The Silent World by Cousteau-Malle was the first french underwater film, 16 years later.

    Esta pelicula-documental tiene varios pasajes vistos hoy como repulsivos: uso de dinamita en un arrecife de coral para contar peces muertos, la muerte de un bebe cachalote con la hélice del barco (accidental, pero tambien por imprudencia del barco), o la siguiente matanza a martillazos y arponazos de varios tiburones atraidos por su sangre. Pero como prueba de lo distinta que era la situación y percepción en 1956 respecto a los criterios de hoy, el documental no solo no fue repudiado entonces, sino que ganó el primer premio en el festival de Cannes de 1956, la Palma de Oro, es decir fue el mejor valorado por público y crítica.

    I am so happy to see that this series has been posted on RUclips. At one point in the past I looked into purchasing the series if it was available. I do own the DVD of "The World Without Sun." I was 12 years old when the first episode aired in 1966 and was inspired to eventually learn scuba diving and then major in marine biology in college. The latter was a mistake as I gave no thought to how I would earn a living and I eventually changed majors. I believe I read most, if not all, of the books written around the series as well. I subscribed to the book series at the time. I can say, though, that Jacques Cousteau and his TV and book series changed the course of my life for sure. I'm looking forward to this trip down memory lane as I watch each and every episode.

      Is it really impossible to earn a living as a marine biologist? What are the options?

    • @pdmarsh5466
      @pdmarsh5466 6 месяцев назад

      No, not at all, there are indeed jobs for marine biologists. It's just that I never actually thought about the job aspect myself and if I would be happy in the role. I just liked scuba diving, the fish, the scenery and so on. I went into the major blindly in that regard.
