I race a 2022 Gas Gas EX250F with KYB suspension in Lockhart Texas in round 4 of the 2024 Texas Offroad Championship Series at Spoaks MotoPark. The race format is a 1 hour and 10 minute cross country harescramble race. i raced well but made some mistakes and fell outside the top 10. I'm still chasing a top 10 finish!!

Broke my leg a couple of years ago on the KTM 350 that I had at the time. Being 5'7, I never felt totally comfortable on the 350. The ground always seemed like it was a mile away from my feet. I'm starting to get the dirt bike itch again and considering maybe getting an xtrainer next season. Being more suited for slower technical riding and the smaller frame/lower seat height is why it looks appealing to me. Thanks for the reviews.

Sometimes that chain tension needs to be like that for the break in. Then check and adjust accordingly. Great job on the review

Plus around 99% of people are gonna think you're on a 1000 cuz to them it looks and sounds like one. Could even fool bikers, especially the double dics and fairings, just the seating position gives it away.

This might sound a little crazy but the ZX4rr should be the new beginner bike! You can even find them for way cheaper now, got mine for $8 thousand out the door. Forget them bullshit 2 cylinders bikes, unless that's what you like or the most you can afford.

Man, you and King have me considering a 350! It would have to be a 24+. I'm not a fan of the air fork. I need to get out to Cole's, too! Looks amazing out there.
You will be faster on the 350 no question. The 250 yam has grunt but so does the 350 and it dont run out of lungs…

@@danelectr its a lot more every day friendly than i think it gets credit for. I ride supermoto mostly which is the most user friendly around town experience you can have in my opinion and i dont feel like the ninja is too cumbersome to get around on…there are better bikes for sure for “everyday” use but this is fine…

255 lbs here. I bought the 24 xcf 350. The power is incredible. It's more powerful than any 250 2 stroke I had. I love the 300 xc too though
Kawasaki pulled a blinder with this bike. They're about to completely take over and im sure by the time the other manufacturers react it will be too late...

@@alexv5581 Many manufacturers are saying this, especially cars, many cars brands already fully switched but looks like there's hope for hydrogen engines, Kawasaki just launched a video testing their first hydrogen prototype in very early stages and they look real invested about it, not like a trial thing but an actual project. Having somewhat affordable hydrogen vehicles in the future is pretty much the only thing that's gonna save internal combustion engines. To hell with all that electric crap.
I have the 23 Gasgas cousin. Great bike, all my 2 stroke buddies love it. Go nice and easy or crank it and hold on. Good luck and ride safe

I changed from a 2022 FE 450sxf to a 2024 FE 350XCF and love it great on the trails and just fine on the track. Lowered it 27mm front and back, Rekluse , GPR dampener, and a host of BPD parts, sweet bikes for sure.

I had the problem i wanted a ktm duke gp what is it ? 790 890? I really love that bike stil! And i loved the zx4rr and i choosed the zx4rr verry happy with my choise but i stil mis that duke 😂 maybe next year maybe maybe... the zx4rr drinks to much i can do 200 km with a full tank of gass😂 but its the bike it invites verry much to rev to the limiter 😂 love it

I find it hard to really test a bike when there are other rider ahead or behind me, I always pull of and let a gap build. You seemed to get distracted with the other riders around you.

Im slightly new to dirtbikes as a 34yr old. I do have an all white anniversary kdx200 a 2002 tm 125e and a 23 beta 200 race edition. The beta tractors up stuff like the kdx but rips like the tm does on av gas. Best of both other bikes. Great motor like the kdx and great suspension like the ohlins the tm has. Absolutely love the 200 race edition.

Yep, that was me (721) at 6:44. I had a great start and I was in second place before taking a soil sample. I got up and got in front of 4th place but I was frazzled and the 4th place guy was on me so I decided to let him by. Little did I know there was a convoy and I immediately gave up about 8 more spots, lol.
Nooooo!!!!! Haha thats what i find tough about that property as well. It compresses the field and its really hard to tell who’s back there! I say make it a conga line and hold everyone up! Haha Just fyi if you ever get in front of me and feel slow (might never happen bc youre faster haha) dont ever feel obligated to let me by…no matter how much i rev bomb and yell….its your position, i have to earn it fair and safe without contact.

Fun riding with you out there! I'm #98. Realized I hadn't turned on my go pro while on the line and butchered (completely missed the flag) my start trying to get it going. I didn't even get it to record 🤣. It was a tough race. Lots of falling and following, but so worth every minute of it!

Before I try to burn this bike trying to treat it like a super comfortable naked/cruiser/sport bike you should totally throw me into the mix for grabbing this xD I've been staring at this bike for a minute now as I want something with true sportbike etiquette with track potential compared to my perfect commuter bike that I'm about to talk myself into starting track days with haha.
