Recorded during the lecture about mongolian gers.
It’s thanks to this game that I have more knowledge about Greek mythology than most other people.
This is one of the most mesmerizing main menu themes I've ever heard in a game. It's such a brilliant tonal choice, that for a game with a world so dark, dreary, grim, and horrifying, the music, rather than reinforcing that mood, contrasts it. The main theme is truly heroic, but not in what we would normally consider heroic. It's not flashy, there is no glory, no warcries, no heavy, driving themes... ...but rather it is quiet, melancholic, reflective, even fatalistic...but ultimately, _defiant._ It is the heroism of one who wanders silent, haunted, dead streets and battles eldritch horrors with weapons made of scrap metal and duct tape. It is the heroism of one who doesn't need hope to win in order to fight. Every enemy is a dire threat, and there is no glory in victory against them, for there are none to witness it. The music's pathos goes so well with this one official artwork that was used in the marketing from the game in the beginning of this video: a hand, wrapped in filthy bandages and worn clothes, clutching a still smoking revolver made of cobbled-together pipes and scrap metal, being dragged down into the writhing vines of the Root--but still defiantly gripping the weapon, fighting until the very end.
Oh my god, this game is... the perfection, i remember the first time that i downloaded this game and test him, i stay in the menu for minutes listening this perfection, and now, with more than 190 hours and the platinum, listening again and that shiver on the spine.
It’s has a eerie tone to game of thrones a bit from “goodbye brother” ost
Played the heck out of this game. Platinumed it. Need to redownload and play it.
Bro, its my first walkthrough, I've been trying a crit build with the rifle to smoke the fk out of hades, and when I finally make it to a very strong one he refused to fight, fuckin shi
NAME İS THE MUSİC
An absolute masterpiece... The song just personified and capped the game's greatness... I have some concerns about the Cultural Marxism aspects, nevertheless, near Perfection in every level...
Even after near 300+ hours the menu theme is still enjoyable
There isn't a ton of menu themes I just sit and listen to. This is one that I definitely took notice. I thought, "I gotta find that."
one of the best games i have ever played and the only time i watched the credits incredible indeed xD lets play hades 2 now
goosebumps all over. love this game
They had no right to make this game so good. And now to surpass it. It's unfair.
The final “fight” with Hades and this were the last times I can remember actually tearing up while playing a game. Just such raw emotion after so long of a journey. Love every second of it.
One of the most epic moment I lived in a video game. I was hypnotized.
You take the oar, Charon. I'll hold the boombox.
Reminds me of Two steps from hell Star Sky
So much fun playing with my friends and trying hard to beat every boos Now i play with one of them We were 4 now only me and 1 of them RIP😢
Glad you got to experience it with a squad and make good memories. I'm enjoying it so far, but I've only been playing alone. I love good co-op games
Kurva.. jak já tu hru miliju! A dvojku ještě víc!
Will always love this track. Reminds me of good old Halo 3 days and i know it doesn't compare but it sure reminds me of it.
Remnant 2 intro is similar, but this is better
Remnant 2 was my first, I absolutely loved the Menu OST. Hearing this for the first time is an absolutely extraordinary experience!
As a person who played the hell out of Remnant from the Ashes i can say this theme slapped hard. Remnant 2 hit a bit differently but still nice too.
Most underrated game i have ever played !!! i absolutely Love Remnant !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
coooooooool
this music makes me cry..... & it was a true/real masterpiece.....🥺😢😭
you right it is a true/real masterpiece.😔
@@dr.respect4445 oh thank you my dear friend.
All the fighting. All the pain. All the strife and struggle so a broken family can be restored. What a masterpiece
Underrated game, awesome and fun coop play,i love it.
The odd part about this is that most people will never hear the entire song, because it's the title screen music. As in the thing you hear idly in the background before you start the game. Maybe it would've been better to have it as the end credits music instead.
i used to just stare at the menu and listen to the song.. until it finished then started the game
People more likely listened to this and skipped the credits
how did we go from this to... what we have with Remnant 2? simply incredible.
በጣም ጥሩ፧ ❤ሙዚካ ኮንጃ።
Juegaso, me encanto tanto jugarlo como el 2, dolo me falta chronos before of the ashes
Game is clunky and some of the puzzles are rough, but it is a fantastic prequel story to the main game here with just as good a music score as this one. Despite the mixed review on steam, I overall fairly enjoyed it
Do other creative people (visual artists, writers, musicians, etc.) ever get really intimidated by something? Like, "How will my work stand out when stuff like *this* exists in the world?" This ending (and game generally) gives me that really hard. So damn good.
I'm a bit disappointed that I hadn't found this game during the time of it's release, but I'm glad I'm here now. Enjoy it with the rest of you, for a better tomorrow!!!
Same here I only just discovered it due to game pass tbh but if I knew how good it was I would've played
When you are preparing your team to do your duty to go out and battle mutant monsters, there is no better audible motivation than this one.
whos here after disapointing remnant 2 theme ?
Remnant 2 theme is great, it brings a different tone due to its story same as with 1 1 is being trying to survive and recover back the mistakes made that brought about the impending doom of the Roots while it seemed hopeless 2 is where you really try to fight and you see a winning chance but alas at the end, was it really a victory? It came with a huge cost of Clementine who is very powerful and was the linchpin for holding the world's falling apart and with her gone. There is no telling how it will go, but things must go on, sacrifices made can't be wasted To me, it fits the stories very well Reminds me of Halo 1 2 3 The initial ancient mystery of q Then the real battle begins where it all hangs on the line 2 And the finisher to everything 3
I hope they put this menu song again to remnant 2
They did
It sounds like Two steps from hell
Exactly the vibes I got from it, probably why I love this game’s soundtrack so much.
This is better than g.o.t theme by design
The game sucks but music is good really good
😂😂😂
no you
skill issue lmao
Get out of here with your heresy
2:05 Good Shade, da real mvp.
I think I am protagonist of remnant: from the ashes. You all can be minor characters and antagonists.
Not since the ARK theme has a piece of in-game music hit me right in the soul like this one does, every time.
I was legit blown away by this game. I avoided it for the longest time due to not knowing much plus not liking souls like. I finally played it not long after the final dlc dropped. FELL IN LOVE. The factions, the enemies, the lore, the gameplay. Easily 8-9 outta 10. Im SO PSYCHED for the sequel
best ending A game that deserves praise
This game is such a blast to play!
Can anybody else hear the inspiration from Game of Thrones in this? Music is beautiful
One of the best hidden gems of the genre, oh wait, it's the only game of its genre!
legit cried throughout these credits
I adore this theme. Love the heroic approach rather than something completely dark and edgy.
I so agree. That contrast in mood is so effective. Despite the nature of the story of Remnant being very grim, dire, dark, and often hopeless, it was an absolutely inspired decision to NOT make the music sound like that. The music in Remnant's theme is not just heroic, though. It's unusually quiet, reflective...possessing a melancholy not usually present in more heroic themes. The heroism in this game is a more fatalistic, reserved, and downplayed heroism. It's the silent heroism of a relatively normal person, armed with weapons made of scrap and duct tape, desperately fighting horrors in lonely, hushed, dead streets. Victory is without glory, for there is no one to witness it. You can feel your character's fatigue and somberness in this theme, yet you know that no matter what, they will never give up. Defiant to the last, not for fame or honor, because there is none left in the world, but because they are a defiant soul. What a theme, man. It brings tears to the eyes.
Hear me out: 1:28 new wake up alarm ringtone
