I miss the road. ❤ Arizona has beautiful sunrise and sunsets. If the rapture doesn't happen before February, im leaving here. God will show me where to be. Arizona nice to visit driving down the road, but not too live, i miss the country, i miss everything back where i was all the green , of the grass and trees. There's a rock back there i need to get. I thought the squirrel was going to have to jump up and down on it to set it off... what people don't see is it only kills 2 out of 10 squirrels it holds them real good while you go out and whack them on the head. I live in the city and I average at the very least 6 squirrels a week. Now that the babies have left the nest here in the early summer I I average at least 10 a week. Where the hell are they all coming from seems like I'm not even putting a dent in the squirrel population.

Make sure you adjust the valves (pushrods), It will help out on plug fouling. Look like you put a CV carb on it, make sure you get it jetted right. I would run and S&S E carb, very easy to tune.

My dad used to be an over the road truck driver and it sucked him bein away from home for so long....i got go out on the road with a couple of times and it was fun but i dont know if i could go on the road that long by myself

Also have 3 million accident/incident free miles under my belt. Still at it, and probably will be till the day i die

I've been trucking since 1979. Missed seeing 4 kids growing up, 1 wife dieing of cancer, and yes, it is a very hard lifestyle. In the last 30+ years, i have had a total of maybe a year and a half of off duty time at home. For you newbies out here, don't let the company run you in the ground. If you need time off for whatever reason, tell them, and make sure you keep on them about your time off at home, and not some truck stop in B F Egypt.

No freight for flat beds comes out of Texas???? Better find a different company. All i pull are open deck trailers, IE: flat bed, lowboy and Conestoga. I live in San Antonio, and have never had a problem getting freight for a flatbed in Texas.

My husband is a trucker and it's hard on the whole family. But extremly proud of my asphalt cowboy 1 million miles accident and ticket free. Please respect the truckers without them you have nothing no food, no clothes, no lumber for building houses, and no food. And most of their trucks our set by the company to only go 62mph so don't honk and don't pull in front of them. Because those men have little ones to come home to just like you.

thats why i got out of driving trucks. i do not miss being gone all the time. thank god for the experience i did have and the skills i have obtained over the course of 5 years floating gears and jakin' the down grades.

I have been over that pass many a times I to am a Asphalt Cowboy, I wouldn't change it if I could. Truckin is all I know.

Im 12 and my pa (grandpa) was a truck driver for 28 years he came home every night and i could c him and 1 day he had to go to pennsylvania haulin asphalt oil and i sat at his door and cried i was three i love my grandparents bttr than my parents when their gone life will b pointless they bring joy to me i follow in their footsteps

im only 17 and since i was 5 i wanted to drive trucks i cant wait to drive and i respect everyone that drives truck because without them we wont have what we have today in our homes or what we drive.

I too am a trucker's wife. My heart goes out the the families of trucker's who miss birthday's, anniversaries, and holidays. My Trucker has been trucking almost 15 year now. His dad was a trucker, my grandfather was a trucker as well as my uncle. I appreciated everything they did while driving. As someone else posted It's the trucker's who keep America moving. Keep up the great work our ASPHALT COWBOYS.
