I guess 220k miles didn't do much to this engine
@@DostiesGarage it because this engine is serviced very well, prob need to find a none service engine maybe find an engine haven't had oil change for 30,000km

Yeah there wasnt 20lbs of boost on that head or anything. Or they torqued only 1 side head bolts to spec without installin any other bolts and ran it. Maybe warped super bad and still torqued down? Never seen this on an LS.
Fuck yeah he kept his job, no shop owner is gonna fire a kid who actually shows up and WANTS to work and learn... especially when thy can throw him the shit work and pay him shit pay while they build hot rods and boats and take vacations
He kept it. Found the defect in it before installing saved the company about $3000 and like 70 man hours.

🆕 or not there’s a thing called insurance and dropping something isn’t intentional but accidental so if they fired him then it’s not the best place to work for cuz I’ve seen countless lead techs like myself ruin things and never get fired for it but for him it’s different.
