Any_Austin is the goat. Cookie Blitz did the same idea but implemented the idea with Left 4 Dead 2 and now you’re doing it with Minecraft. The coincidences are… remarkable!

Started a creative and smp servers on my home network when my daughter was 5 or so in 2018. Still playing them today together. It’s rewarding to go back and look at all the generations a builds and how they have gotten better over time. In the SMP world we still haven’t fought the dragon and gone to the end. Maybe one day soon. We have however named all the villagers in the main town and stayed away from big item farms like iron and whatnot, so we need to go places to do things.

This video is amazing. Minecraft changes when u just build something. I made myself a challenge of finding seeds where the spawn is okay looking. Building something I like in an area. Once that building is there you can visualise everything. This helped me stop searching 1000 seeds, and not finding an area I could build on. When every area can look amazing with some effort

The real tip: Make a Creative Forever World. That way you're always doing something new. Building something new. And by Jesus, download world-edit.

*inspiration from random blocks* completely random thing that inspired me the other day was seeing soul soil placed in the ceiling of a nether fortress (as a barrier for wither skeletons). for some reason my mind jumped to some sort of sandstone corridor with soul soil as a divider, so i went and built that in creative mode, then i just kept adding to it and changing it until i had a pretty cool looking room *inspiration from details in the world* also i was randomly thinking about minecraft LORE, about how the Ominous Bottle is creepy, how the blocks around the Ominous Vault form the same impression as the symbol on Chiselled Deepslate (thanks to RetroGamingNow for that information), and that made me want to build an OMINOUS SHRINE based on all of these pieces. like some sort of temple of evil rituals, with the Ominous/Chiselled Deepslate face motif incorporated throughout it. *inspiration from challenge* also i always struggle building farms/functional stuff that arent hidden and dont look boring or out of place, so i was thinking about how i could build a farm that's visible and looks fun to me while still being functional. i guess finding a challenge and trying to overcome it is a good source of inspiration *inspiration from events* *and inspiration from related things to what your making* also a good source of inspiration is any sort of event that happened. like, my storage was filling up with excess tools and armour around the same i wanted to go explore a trial chamber, so i ended up making an armoury inspired by Trial Chambers. and then i was also getting armadillos and wolf armour, so i connected my builds for them to the armoury, using some of the same blocks and motifs. and then i wanted the wolf build to feel in touch with my cherry wood house, so i used cherry leaves for the ceiling. so there's kind of a long line of inspirations going on there. (the comment was quite lengthy so i added summaries in *bold text* lol)
