Yeah losing Kirlia is definitely such a bummer for gardy decks, taking away both a means to discard energies but also just draw cards, Lillie’s Clefairy ex will help gardy out tho, and that’s coming out right as rotation happens! Pidgeot control is gonna be a solid choice tho, very adaptable!!

@ i’d love to mess with it when it comes out. I feel like you can somewhat combine it with poison package with perilous jungle and just be stacking crazy status damage and then also hit really hard

Oh 100% there are some really funky things you can do with this, especially since Volcanion is a basic so with Latias that boy has free retreat, so you can brute bonnet poison both actives, volcanion to burn your opponent and then retreat into Cradily, hit for 260 if perilous jungle is in play, and then more if our opponent can't get that pokemon out of the active, that's not half bad at all!!

Yup, totally agree!! I have a feeling Pokemon is really trying to slow down the meta a bit with the upcoming set and with rotation, I’m not too upset as long as the game doesn’t get boring lol

If I had to guess, I’d say the bones of the deck will probably remain the same, we’ll see how powerful budew is but all stage 2 decks may start playing grand tree but it isn’t like for sure yet lol. I think Hydreigon is gonna be like really good, especially if the player can consistently use obsidian!

I have a feeling they will, it's too useful of a mechanic to just leave out of the game! I just hope the next deck archetype that uses the lost zone isn't as good as lost zone box lmao

The nice thing about Pokemon is you can always take a break for a month or two, and poke your head back in and see if the meta suits you better, I do think the meta is gonna slow wayyyyyy down with Budew!
