How did you do the wiring part??
Hey Craig
Thanks Craig!
Thanks, will do be doing this soon
The dealer tells me that the rotors are different sizes for this model on a 2019, is that true? Front breaks. Thanks
So they asses can keep the idea of people having to pay for shit!! That’s how this shit works!
You took me out when you said its betond me 😂 ive seen shit like that too and its flabergasting 😂
You have to keep draining and adding to get the rest of the old fluid out
No, you don't, I have over 220k on the stock trans with no issues from doing the trans service exactly the way I do it every 10k. It works just fine this way, the way you're referring to is just wasteful.
I did the rear brakes without putting it on service mode now the brake light and the power brake light is flashing, can anyone help me get rid of it!!!
I've never had to put mine on service mode to do brakes on any car never mind my fusion....are you sure everything went back together properly? Did you turn the piston in slowly? Is the fluid low?
Too much intro and you don't show how to put the spring clamp on. 2 stars
So, you want a video where they don't go over the parts and tools needed to do the job? I'm sorry, can't help you with that, i guess my intros will have to continue to be too long. Thanks for the comment!
Yeah, ask a transmission guy about 100_150k trans fluid changes😅
Thanks for shooting this video. I was wondering if there was anything extra needed to be done for exposing the throttle body.
Getting ready to change front Pads and Rotors on my wife’s Renegade, 105,000 miles. Changed the pads around 70,000.
Sounds like you are one of the lucky ones 70000 miles out of one set of pads basically unheard of how did the Jeeps
I really enjoyed your wonderful job. I got a rear brake malfunction message on my instrument cluster screen because the rear brake cylinder on the driver side seems not to move back and forth even though a motor on the caliper seems working properly. So, I think I need to replace all the rear brake caliper and follow the procedures you instructed. Do I have to deactivate the electronic parking brake prior to the job? Or would disconnection of the battery work? Your advice of expertise would be appreciated.
Just make sure that the parking brake is off you do not have to disconnect the battery just follow the direction in the video and you'll be fine, thank you for the comment!
Thank you 🎉
Perfect! Finally found this to help me with my 06 Expedition. Great information on the right way to do this! By the way, where is the EGR valve? I’m not finding reliable information online. Some sites say it doesn’t have one others say it’s the purge valve on the firewall! I just want to clean or replace it due to low idle and hesitation around 60 mph. I figure I can do that while I’m cleaning the throttle body / MAF. Thanks very much!
To be perfectly honest I am not even sure if it has one, unfortunately I don't have the truck anymore to even be able to check for you. Thanks for the comment!
Is a 2012 fusion the same
I believe it is, does it look the same underneath?
Caliper is brand new actuator is not
It's actually leaking into it in spraying out between the actuator and caliper
You replaced the caliper with a remanufactured unit and it's leaking around the piston? I'd say they did a crappy job rebuilding it, there's o rings inside that keep the fluid from leaking out. Either the piston is pitted or the o rings are damaged in some way which is leading to your leak, I would definitely remove it and get a new caliper, unless it's leaking from the banjo fitting, it's not your fault, it's the manufacturer. Take it back
@@ChevyMalibu69 you are 100% right I realize it last night after thinking about it ,the side that's leaking also has a big glob of glue coming out the back side center of the caliper I noticed when I bought it but it looked factory but what it actually was ,was some tried repairing the leak and resold it to me advanced auto in my area who knows how many times they resold it lol I deff know what to look for now when shopping for rear fusion calipers
So I've dose this to my 2014 fusion and I got break fluid leaking into the actuator on the driver side was wondering if u may know what this could be from
Great Content! Thankyou!
Where did you find the lines & I need the one thats going from the radiator on drivers side to the middle. The one you haven’t connected yet. What’s that called and where’d you get it
I got all the lines from the dealer, and if you need a fitting that threads into the radiator or trans cooler it might be very difficult to find, it was for me back then when I did this job. I haven't had that truck in years now, but I think the line you're referring to is just a feed or return from cooler to radiator if I remember correctly
@@ChevyMalibu69 thanks
How can you tell when the box is full?
The dipstick is on the top of the axle, the orange plug
@@ChevyMalibu69 Thank you so much. Found it. Right in front of my face lol
Молодец красавчик так держать
So I’m guessing hitting the breaks real hard don’t work anymore to break in the breaks lol
Lol, well technically you have to hit them pretty hard 5 times to start the process off if that helps.....thanks for the comment!
@@ChevyMalibu69 no man yo thank you for helping us even with one hand
@@ChevyMalibu69 do you have a video replacement of the back as well?
I inherited my dad‘s tractor, it’s a 2013. I change the oil for the first time, I believe. Do you have other videos on maintenance for this Kabota tractor?
Yes I have one on how to change the gear oil in the front axle as well, ruclips.net/video/EaAxUOzIDtk/видео.html, let me know if you need any more info on this machine
Great Video. One question-does the "squealer" go on the top or bottom ?? When you took the old pad(s) out the squealer was on the bottom, when you replaced with the new pad it was on the top. Thanks
Thank you for the comment, obviously the Squealer is just for when the pads Get Low and it's only job is to contact the rotor and alert you to the fact that the pads are low, the pad will still work the way it's intended whether the Squealers at the top or the bottom so I wouldn't be too concerned about it but if it's at the top when you remove yours I would just put it back at the top when you reinstall the new pads it's completely up to you
I’m at 17,000 miles and they told me the same thing
Coupler removal tool needed not mentioned 😡😱🥱
What? The hammer? Hey....what ever gets the job done boss, do what you gotta do!
shitty background music
This method worked only with stainless welding wire and a stainless nut for me. Used an element scanning gun and the old studs had so much zinc coating on them the steel nuts wouldn't weld to what was left of the studs. For some reason stainless did the trick even when it was broke about 1/4 in in the head.
These cheap mopar crap brakes don't last. My mothers trail hawk got 15k, inner brake pads worn to the metal. And she's a easy driver. Factory pads should be 60k+. Definitely not going factory. But like I told her, that's what you get buying crap Chrysler/fiat vehicles, that can't last after bailouts and multiple mergers. great video though! The e20 socket was super helpful
And seeing that rotor just cluckin fly made me roll hard
Yeah, they're absolute garbage. I'm very glad I have since gotten rid of that thing, thanks for the comment!
I have a 2014 Ford Fusion hybrid. Battery was replaced and now the front and rear passenger window, passenger side Sideview mirror and unlock switch doesn't work. How can I fix this ?
So what do you mean run it through the gears? Like put it in sequential mode and just have the car raised to go through every gear or just go from park down to sequential and back up multiple times???
Well to start, it's sport or select shift, not sequential but what I mean is to go from reverse to neutral to drive. Allow the trans a couple seconds to fully engage into each gear, then switch back and forth at least 8-10 times to ensure the fluid has made its way fully into the valve body, torque converter, solenoids, actuators etc... for you to get a proper reading on the level of the fluid on a level surface at normal operating temperature in park. Make sure it's just barely dribbling out of that hole by the wheel, not enough and you'll have problems and too much will give you shifting issues as well. Good luck and thanks for the comment!
I dread removing the lug bolts. The caps are notorious for messing up. Where I get my tires rotated, they came out one day and said "we can't rotate because whoever did it last time messed some of the caps up" and I said "you guys did it last time", then they went back out and miraculously was able to do the job lol. I've noticed some of my caps wiggle now....
Lol, wow! Don't you love it when it's their fault and you can prove it? It definitely was something that I dreaded too for sure, I've since traded that thing in for a 2019 Ford explorer and I couldn't be happier. I love the extra room and comfort.
Thank you for sharing this video. You just helped me with finding out how to check my fluid level.
You're welcome, glad I could help. Just make sure you change it frequently it'll help that trans last a long time.
@@ChevyMalibu69 most definitely will do. I thought you were going to show how to reset the shift pattern? I was looking for that video also.
Bostitch also makes a coil nail version of this model. Snap ring pliers are used to disassemble the coil nail feed piston only.
Thanks for the tourqe for the for bolts.
Awesome! Thanks
You're welcome, glad it helped
Where’s the second video
20k miles on my 2018 renegade and yep just started squeeling last night and even worse today. Checked the driver side rotor and it has a decent size groove in the middle. Was a tech in the 90s and early 2k and mopar used crap rotors back then and I guess the still do. Most others manufacturers go 70k+ before needing them.
Years ago when I was young. did spark plugs 1 broke off had to drive to the auto store the car sounded like gunshots going off. got tools called easy out and I got it out. you think they could come up with a better system.
2016 Trailhawk, 45K and just done mine. Mine weren't scored just quite badly lipped - seemed like the discs wore down quicker than I would expect. I had quite a bit of corrosion on the hub surface so wire brushed it all flat, otherwise I would have been concerned about excessive run out. Like a lot of others I was surprised by the E20 (wish I'd seen your video before but YT just didn't pull it up in a search) , but the 12 point 16mm socket I had coped easily with no damage. Great video man.
when mine goes up completely to the top it automatically goes down half way and stays there (focus 2018)

Can I clean maf sensor with a carb & throttle body cleaner??
No, you will mess it up. Only use maf cleaner
HI, thanks for your video. I from Czech republic. I need help, Can you take me a foto, where is point for lift car. Thank you
Do you torque to specific poundage or just snug it up?
There are torque specs for everything but mainly I just torque the lug nuts to 100 ftlbs. The hardware for the slider bolts I don't go crazy on but the bolts for the bracket itself I give it a little extra I'd have to say about the same as the lug nuts
Thank you so much! This solved the issue right away. Got to love RUclips !
You're welcome, glad to help
