I start at Brookside, go to Shields, Highsplint (where all the shooting happened) & meet Mickey Messer, a striking miner who became president of the UMWA local 1974. Mickey passed away in 2014. This video was made around 2004. A correction: that was not Barbara Kopple in those pics. It was just a journalist there that day.

This is a parody video! Just for fun, spur of the moment, when I got a cup off eBay. I don't smoke, so that's missing. My son didn't play "Ob" too well either, either in his remarks or camera skills! @WittmannAntiqueMilitaria

I just went to Kevin Brophy's memorial last weekend (John Younger) Rest in peace, dear friend. You will be missed.
Where was the portal 32 mine?
On top of Black Mtn. I visited what's left of the buildings there in this video: ruclips.net/video/-rqi44avyHg/видео.html

I was in lynch today showing my wife and kids the portal. I started to notice how I spoke like him about made me cry
It’s like the old talks we had.
I love this thank you
Bob is my great grandfather
From 2001-2006 I'd go to Lynch twice a year & spend a couple days with him each time. We got to be good friends. I really, really liked him.
@@jimwatson1219 thank you for posting this, he passed away in 2018. I miss him dearly
I went down in the summer of 2008 or 2009, & he didn't know me, even after I reminded him of all the time we'd spent together. It was sad. :(
@@MichaelKing-me5jy I have another one: ruclips.net/video/a8Sr089YA7M/видео.html
I spent 3 years working in Lynch from 2011 to 2014 and got to speak to Bob everyday. Loved hearing his old stories
Hey you forgot the cigar. Here's too DTC "Drunks in the Cellar"
That was very interesting, Jim. Thanks for sharing, and thanks for the sub
Thank you kindly. ♥
This is hilarious, too bad you dont smoke, that would have been the crowning part however I'm glad you dont, good for you, anyone that doesn't collect militaria this would make not much sense but for those of us that do or did it is gold, thank you. You even sound like him, did Tom always drink like this or is this something he picked up in his later years?
Okay folks, get real. That much equipment doesn't get transported overnight. The reality is that none of the gear arrived until after the war. However, it does not mean the act was inconsequential. Knowing that supplies would arrive enabled the Israelis to be more liberal with their available inventory.
Where can i write to stacy ❤❤
That was hilarious, well done sir.
Love it.
where is walter?
❤❤ i like stacy and james
Damn Pinkertons!
The Pinkertons tossed a bomb through a window of the home of Jesse James's mother and stepfather. It maimed Jesse's mother and killed his little half brother.
Funny stuff... love the packing peanut issues.
You need to do the eye roll after you take a drink HA , really great job & Ob is perfect thanks for the humor !

I was expecting Debbie to come around the corner holding a flag😅
Did Tom always drink this much or is this something that happened in the last few years? ive been involved in the hobby for a few decades but i have never met Tom personally so i dont know much about him except for going to his site and reading some of the stuff he comes up with, lol and of course i have a few of his books.
Haha! Had to come here and check it out the moment Wittman mentioned it. Very funny, and the Ob actor chimed in authentically as well.

Where is the Di Nobilli ?
That's funny 😂

The story: A lone Pinkerton detective had come to Clay County (Jesse James's home base) looking for Jesse. He was identified as a Pinkerton man as soon as he stepped off the train because he was wearing "city" clothes and he then met with local law enforcement. He changed into farmer's clothes and went on foot toward the farm of Jesse's mother and stepfather. Jesse and two of his gang intercepted the Pinkerton man, questioned him, concluded that he was a Pinkerton man, and killed him. They put his body over a horse and dumped it in neighboring Jackson County, home base of the Younger family. That was why the two additional Pinkerton men came looking for the Youngers. But the Youngers had many cousins in Jackson County. Again, outsiders were identified as lawmen. They foolishly went knocking on doors, and one of the doors was that of a cousin of the Youngers. Jim and John Younger happened to be upstairs, so they listened to the conversation between their cousin and the outsiders. When the two Pinkerton men departed, Jim and John let them get a little lead and then started after them. They came up behind them, drew guns, and questioned them. When the two Pinkerton men realized that Jim Younger wasn't buying their story about being cattle buyers, one of them drew a concealed pistol and shot John Younger, who was Jim's brother, not cousin. And the rest occurred pretty much as shown here, except that the man shot by Jim Younger actually lived for almost two weeks before dying of his wounds. Source: *"Outlaws On Horseback"* by Harry Sinclair Drago, published in 1964.
Can someone please tell me what this documentary is called? I can't find it anywhere
"Against All Odds" I just checked, it is on Amazon Prime Video for free.

I don’t care what people say about Nixon, Gods used him to help save Israel. Nixon was a Great Man!
Demonic Zionists. Protestants & Jews alike.
Nixon deserves more credit for saving Israel instead of being remembered for Watergate. We didn't know how corrupt the left wing media was back than. We do today.
Comment 98: Today is Day 11, correct? 6:25 pm CST Oct. 17, 2023 President Charity Colleen Crouse
Terrible decision - Should have stayed out, & we could have had World Peace ✌️🕊️
The Jewish people today are not the Jewish people of the bible. In Israel Jews spit on Christians. And ask them what the Talmud says about Jesus Christ. Stupid zionist boomers.
You forgot to mention Meir authorized the assembly of thirteen 20-kiloton-of-TNT (84 TJ) tactical nuclear weapons for Jericho missiles at Sdot Micha Airbase and F-4 Phantom II aircraft at Tel Nof Airbase.
If there is one thing about Nixon I’ve found is, the more you learn about him, the more relevant and better he looks in history.
Agree 😅
I've read all but one of His books, My admiration for him started in 1981.
Nixon was railroaded out by the same powers that had Kennedy assassinated. The swamp was already murky and deep 60 years ago.
Nixon was a complex and intelligent man. Throughout his career he paid the price for his faults many others don't.
Israel is very weak without USA its nothing. They are known as thieves in over all the world.
To hell with those piece of trash Pinkertons. Always have hated those yellowbelly bastards.
