Women can have trouble distinguishing truth from a feeling
The comment section is a provocative display of human hubris.
Men complain about women not wanting to have sex with them after X amount of time of being together. "We used to do it all the time and then she just stopped." Women complain that men used to talk to them more and be more reciprocal. Men want the poon, so they will behave accordingly to get it and women think that means a man will always be emotionally available to them. Sex is incredibly powerful, and to each their own reason. Then....the newness wears off, and so does being "twitterpated"; the veil is dropped and we are left with the reality of the situation. So many men say women only have bullshit to say and go on and on. And so many women say that men are asshole simpletons. Women cannot help that they're emotional and more detail oriented. Men cannot help that they are more reptilian brained. Women feel hurt by the men who don't care about what they have to say, and then women don't want to have sex with someone they don't feel connected to. Fact is, both genders are how they are, and I feel it has been our responsibility to learn of the other side and find a compromise, but still after THIS long of being on this planet, we are STILL (dys)functioning at primordial levels. There are exceptions, of course, because you cannot put an entire gender into one box (humans: complex creatures we are), but the numbers continue to speak volumes. 🧠💨😶🌫️💀
love summary at the end tysm
Glad you loved it. Thank you 🙏🏼
Well women need to communicate. Keeping a mask on or assuming they won't be listened to or that men don't care and then Keeping silent is a perfect way to get resentments and fault finding. Eventually these people, who are decent people walk away breaking your heart for not mind reading.
Thank you to an earlier commenter for this bit of wisdom: A lot of communication problems stem from the idea that men should be like women and listen and respond like women. Interestingly, this is a complete 180 degrees from the turn-of-the-20th-century idea of “why can’t women be more like men?” (Be more logical, etc) Men and women speak differently. Men tend to get to the point more quickly, so that it can be solved. Women take a more meandering course, trying to fill in all the details so that you understand the emotional context of the events. To insist that men think like women is no more right than insisting that women think like men. We have to recognize the strengths of each side and use them best to ensure a successful marriage and the raising of stable, successful children.
LOVE this from an earlier commenter; thank you: Saying a woman's problem doesn’t exist, is a good way to set her off into the abyss of feeling unsafe and I to the right or flight mode. Her problem is very real to her. It has to be acknowledged before it can be let go of. You can’t let go of what doesn’t exist. It exists because it’s affecting her. She has to find an away to release it.
Hmm, listen too delusions 😮 why ?
It the women not listening these days
peterrson is an offensive idiot, and he is very sick and weak.
Listening is hard but especially if you’re a narcissist
@@ronaldnaldt they don’t have the space within to hear it. They can’t, it’s impossible for them. Once you accept that, you walk away.
Like me
Relationships are difficult because women are ungrateful, spiteful, vindictive and entitled.
What do you do when they can’t take the truth
And if your in a corporation they'll say good job thx for the free idea, now get back to work.
Wmn haven't done anything that makes men truly believe we should listen. If you really think about it, all they've they've really done is taken the rights and ability that we've already given them, and used it to bludgeon us for more. Outside of politics and movements and the constant badgering, I don't see where they've actually proven themselves to be worth listening to. Like, what have they done with the freedoms they have currently? Other than continue to ask for more freedom? Just asking.
Communication is key. When one side fears transparency, the whole thing gets buggered up. (then it creates a twisted web of deceptive cover-ups) Once its either time to replace it or go without.
I know a few snakes
very interesting topic and agree is very important 'mapping up future ,,,,, but wish Jordan could shine a torch to people with religious point of view , they believe god is the captain the ship 'and they put faith and trust only to god in that regard ' true faithful has no fear of tomorrow ;and they believe every direction captain (god) takes the boat even in middle of the storms has very good reason for it ,,,,,, how can make sense of that ?is there any gray area ? how such can make that balance .mapping the future or just take good and bad and live their lives with faith , not asking or giving direction and maps to captain , what is fine line Jordan?
Why such a short interview? Great stuff though
Thanks for the very helpful video and tips, keep it up
Thanks, will do!
Many many men have decided its no longer worth it to have a relationship. These women can go argue with each other. The boys will be fine camping hunting and fishing.
One day I was trying to listen to my wife going on and on like a sentence with no punctuation. In about 2 minutes I asked her, "Is there some sort of point to this?" She stopped talking as if she was angry, and then got quiet. I never tried to listen to her again. 😊
What I hear is that women are overgrown children and need to be catered to like children. Im not a baby sitter. And even if I were, I'd demand compensation. Sex can be bought at a brothel or is free with a vivid imagination.
Feedback is good and will be received and acted upon if and only if it’s in good faith. Otherwise it’s useless.
Men often don't like to listen because they have a bunch of stuff going on in their Brain. They trying to meet the demands placed upon them. Demands of Work, Wife, Education, Home and Vehicle Maintenance, kids needs etc... Women presenting Diarhea speech is distracting. Ones mind now must be refocused to determine if you should be fixing or just Listening. Often time Workbcan be so exhausting, there is Nothing left.
He ain’t lying it’s addictive to wake up every day and work hard for your Family but honestly I didn’t need a video to tell me to try it because I already have been doing it. I love being a Husband and I fucking love be a Dad to my little girls, it’s my fucking job to take care of them and I don’t understand how some dudes out there that don’t want to be home with their family. A Man’s greatest success is his Family
Wow
Love my goggy
Thanks for honoring free speech. As a psychologist ... Jordan also portrays his self as being a devout Protestant Christian. The story went ... and still goes ... that Jesus was born PERFECT to a family of Jews that were faithful to Judaism. So why do the anti-Semitic Christian religions exist at all? You just "can't" improve on "perfection." “I was Jordan Peterson’s strongest supporter. Now I think he’s dangerous. He wanted to establish a church, he said, in which he would preach every Sunday.” Author … Bernard Schiff … professor emeritus of psychology at the University of Toronto.
But have you ever fought real true evil. Theres a difference. Not your inner evil. But actual evil. People have only met the devil from afar. Ive met him personally and he does not like me.
so we’re picking up rational realistic techniques to use with hi narc traits of women good luck
Most of this is bull.
I was bullied growing up. Incessantly. Too afraid to stand up for myself. But I recognized that I needed to take action to elevate my station in life, so I joined the Marine Corps, started lifting weights, embarked on what would be 19 years of training and competing in several different martial arts. It's been a very long time since I've been bullied. Anytime I have found myself unhappy with my station in life, I've taken the necessary action to change that station for the better, be it my career, relationships, personal growth or character. To that, the most profound concept I've ever heard JP state was, "ask yourself what it is that constitutes good character and apply it in your life," or something to that effect.
Thank you, Jordan. You've put concisely into words in your inimitable way what we have been delivering as part of our programme with domestic abusers (both males and females in mixed gendered therapeutically informed groups) for the last 30 years. The fundamental - from a man's point of view - is "Listen, paraphrase and feedback". Do not try to "fix" a problem which you do not (yet) understand.
Men not liking to listen may possibly, remotely, could beee...... have something to do with certain people who NEVER SHUT UP, BUT NEVER SAY ANYTHING EITHER!!!
thx a lot, fear is a tool, when we face it and confront it maybe at the first time i'll be uncomfortable for us but when we face it, confront it, we learn that our courage slowly rising. Be Brave and face our fear
i was a monster than my wife pull me out of it
Which podcast is this?
Most men are sexually out of control. Spreading bed bugs and STDs
I'm calling b.s. Women often act from a place of childishness. Early in my marriage my wife would start arguments,, but I soon realized she was just wanting sex. When she started an argument, I would just initiate sex and that was he end of it. Can you imagine how pointless it would have been if I had tried to talk things out? There was another problem that would pop up. Since she had a hysterectomy at 19, she was on hormone replacement therapy. Sometimes she would run out of pills and act combative and competitive. I would ask her did you take your 'I love Jim pills?' Once she was back on her pills she was soft and feminine again, problem solved. Again, can you imagine how pointless it would have been to talk things out? Not discussing problems until after dinner is saying the same thing.
a typical Zionist
Yup I'm that guy that gets the call I'm a plumber and construction guy up at 3am everyday work 12 hour shifts 14 if you inclued drivetime...but he's right it's a really good feeling
2:32 to be honest, rightfully so though lol
I read Goggins’ first book years ago when it first came out. Loved it. Helped push me through a tough time finding a job when nothing felt like it was working. Then took me years before I could believe that I could push myself physically. Finally ran a marathon this year, largely inspired by this man. For those out there, the change may not happen overnight, but it’s all mental and you’re not done until the Lord calls us back. Stay strong!
What about the most dangerous woman a man can meet
Number One Solution solving conflicts in relationships. Don't have relationships.
