I had a Dragon from about '83 to '86 . Fantastic machine until the Commodore 64 and Spectrum 48 took dominance. There was a game called QUEST which I was addicted to. And Zaxxon

I had that tv bought in 1990 from currys on my mums currys store card i was working by then so i was paying it off. I wanted the one with the remote, which cost 9.99 more, but my mum said I didn't need that so I used a wire hanger and stretched it out so I didn't have to get out of bed to turn it over it lasted me about 10 years it was my first telly when I left home and then when I moved again it was the kitchen telly and then it just gave up.

i just made one of these apart from my poor soldering it works well and is easy to do i had mine turn up with no switches but a quick mail and they came a couple of days later with a couple of spares it works well but you DO need a class 4 micro SD a class ten wont work

i have this tv i picked it up for £10 a couple of years ago and its been great on the strength of that i just picked up a 32inch Viera for £20, again it has all the inputs i could want, 4 hdmi 2 scart vga composite component, as i am a console gamer it has everything i could want. they are really well made tv's

HELP! I just short LK4 - and after that the elk does do beep, the yellow lamp is on - but no picure after all, not even black and white. The picture only stays black. Any ideas? :..O(

What a great find this video was. I had a D32 back in the day with quite literally every game published and every copy of Dragon User magazine, along with a printer and selection of Quickshot joysticks. Many hours and days playing Chickie Egg, Manic Miner, Time Bandit and Lunar Rover Patrol to name but a few.

I`ve just got one. I have to wait for a TV cable to see if it`s good. The tape player fast forwards and rewinds ok but the play does not do anything. Eject button does not eject. I have found the lever inside to eject it. Got a weeks holiday so will have a play about. I was going to fit a audio in jack and use a digital tape player. Also got the replace 7 ram chips on the ZX Spectrum too which is going to be a nightmare lol.

My secondary school had a room full, perhaps 20 of them. All networked to a massive Winchester Disk. I can remember some kind of aircraft simulator and a couple of educational games - one to try and build a medieval castle and another to sell lemonade. I ended up working for RM in the late 90s though things had moved on a little by then!

I know that is video is over two years old but it has appeared on the right pane (recommended) as I watched some other Amstrad CPC videos. I have two CPC6128's that I still use to this day and love them to bits. Apart from the power switch and drive belt issues, these computers are pretty much bomb proof compared to other computers in that era. I have two CPC 6128's and the CTM644 monitor that I cherish and still use to this day.

That Viera has a curious panel inside. It says 1680x1050, which is 16:10. Any idea what panel type it has? IPS, VA? Ms Retro Corner wise I can understand you want the small size. I have something similar with Sony Bravia's, but those are 32 inch 1080p with a VA panel. For 20-30 bucks you get those with 2x SCART, composite, component, VGA and 4x HDMI, but it also has a high quality CCFL backlight with awesome uniformity and decent gamut (REC 709) and stellar contrast.

I have also picked up a few similar older TV's that came out when HDMI first became popular. They have multiple inputs for darn near anything. I use them for testing just to see if a piece of AV gear is working. Usually $5-$20 at thrift stores depending on size.

Mine works otherwise perfect but I should fix the cassette rewind/fast forward action.

I bought this for 430eur in 2006 from Stockmann. The EQ on the remote is equal to the Bass and Treble on the unit.
