I love how most chess players come in suits and take chess so seriously and prestigiously and out this persona of someone who is superior (kasparov coming in late, not even greeting Magnus as a kid or a acknowledging his existence) and then there’s Magnus! Who’s genuinely being himself and doing things outside of the chess events that probably makes him happier than playing against these big names in tournaments

Apparently he walked into the bar, slammed a chess board down and loudly shouted “who’s the strongest chess player in here?” Everyone was confused because they knew who he was and they didn’t understand why he was flexing in this belligerent way. Someone stepped forward and sat down to play. Of course they were soundly beaten but after the game Magnus became emotional and was crying “I don’t know why I do this, I’m sorry, I just want to be normal.” It was weird.

I'm a bit lost can someone please help me. RxQF1, RxRF1, then? I keep seeing that the king can run to KD2-Kc2, and if RF2 check, the king can go to D1 ending the game in a draw as there's no way for the rook to checkmate.
