Hi Tim I just watched your 4100 videos. Maybe you can help me .I’m trying to help a friend with her tractor. She doesn’t know how to activate the glow plugs and it’s cold here in wny. She’s 77 years old and can’t find the manuals for her JD 4100. I have not been able to help her. Don’t want to use either. Could you help us out ? Thanks

I forgot to mention in the video, but once you put the controller cover back on, switch your F&R switch from Neutral to Reverse 5 times in a row and wait for it to beep 4 times. This tells the controller to reprogram for the wire you installed and will get you maximum speed.

That's actually the friction wheel the drive disk is behind it looks like a pancake what is on the crankshaft

I put the same lift kit on mine when you put your front tires on did they rub against the new mounts for the tie rods?

I hooked it up the way you said.i put the positive wire on positive terminal , the ground wire has a terminal on it don't no were to put it. Help

Interesting to watch this. Makes me happy I own a Yamaha with independent (shock absorbed) front suspension and rack and pinion steering. Just a much better system than the EZGO.

Great video. I probably couldn’t do this myself. Your awesome. Only thing I noticed is that the turn signal is usually on the outside. So either you install your lights upside down or to the opposite side of the cart. Either way great install. Works flawlessly. 🫡

Is that engine/drivetrain setup factory or something you installed? I'm currently working on installation of a gas engine setup, replacing the factory electric setup on a late 90's model EZGO and if you could do a walk through of yours, that'd be great. I work with computers and have little experience working on things like this. I was wondering if any type of grease should be going on to these bolts when reinstalling and also would it make sense to replace those small rubber bushings since you already have everything off?

Dude, you should press your burns in and not hammer them and you’re supposed to use at least at bare minimum a socket. That’s approximately the same size as the outer ring. I hope you didn’t damage your bearings.

Is there anyway you could post a video of your wiring form your forward and reverse switch? I'm having issues wiring mine. Mine is a 1986 marathon EZGO. I see you have a cable running from the front of the forward and reverse switch to the negative side? I also see a cable on top of the solenoid, what is that connected too?
