Cool country, 0,9 ducats/month
Now that I know that this song was from the Polish Lithuanian confederation I'm pretty disappointed
Why
it is not Polish Lithuanian commonwealth related, this song was made in 21st century which is designed to recreate Lithuania's medieval atmosphere
Damn one of my favorite songs for about 2 years now and never knew what it stood for , now that I do i hope this song is playing when I see my dad in heaven for the first time
These lyrics were sparking in my 77 year old brain...such sweet sentiments expressing commitment and depth.

Thank you very much for the translation - Despite the fact that I speak Polish, I didn't understand this song at all - You deserve more views for that
The song was in lithuanian as this was lithuanian battle with a lithuanian leader

The hardest part of listening to this song is waiting to see how many plays it takes for it to stop hurting.
I saw the video to this song and thought it was quite light-hearted and nostalgic. Now I've seen the lyrics and it ain't. But I wouldn't change that; this song is such a fusion of different ideas and different emotions. Inspiring and heart-breaking
Hey i like this

As a Slav I know that the Baltic language are akin to Slavic ones, but still it is weird to hear a similar pronunciation yet at the same time the meaning is way different. It is amazing that such an archaic languages as the Baltic ones still exist, especially knowing it is quite similar to the Proto Indo European language
its fascinating, isnt it?
Well both Baltic and Slavic languages came from the same family language branch the Balto-Slavic, so technically, we Balts are cousins with you Slavs

As a five year old,in the late 1940s, I remember my dear mother singing this.
Vnovʹ v apteke aspirin Kupjat mjortvye glaza Čto ty bolʹše ne odin Gde to prozvučat slova Do svidanʹja, do svidanʹja Šepčet vremja gorodam svoim. Guašʹû na letu Ispačkana ladonʹ. Ty znaešʹ bytʹ dobru. Ty znaešʹ posle sotni let i ne uznal. «Zdravstvuj, ja tebja tak dolgo ždal». Vnovʹ v apteke aspirin Kupjat mjortvye glaza Čto ty bolʹše ne odin Gde to prozvučat slova Do svidanʹja, do svidanʹja Šepčet vremja gorodam svoim.
The translation is quite inaccurate, but it's okay with emotional meaning and vibe. Actually there is so much unique constructions of Russian language so that's difficult to translate this properly
One thing led to another , Tiny Tim paying homage to Henry Burr and here I am listening to Henry Burr 🌊🫰🏻
I don't know why the hell they had Henry Burr sing this in 4/4. A couple of alternatives for you: Google "Lady Mary and Matthew Crawley sing together/Downton Abbey....also, Google Scrappy Lambert/if you were the only girl in the world, etc. Don't know if you can find that one, but it is on the internet, though it's just the vocal chorus with Scrappy. If you like Henry Burr, you really should hear him sing a song called, " Old Pal". (Not to be confused with old pal why don't you answer me, was he recorded both on acoustic and electric)) Victors). 🐸
this is a beautiful song, if you can understand the lyrics but the beat still hits different too

Don't be so sad about a whore. If you are the reason for the betrayal, then do not be afraid... You can always get better. Don't give up.

No joke , I work for a builder in Toronto and we're building a new house on the property where this song was written on Glen Edyth Drive. I personally helped build tree protection around the very apple tree in this song..
That's very cool! 👍🏿
It’s still standing?!?!?
пиздатая песня
My lithuanian is not perfect but I feel like some of these words seem Latvian or maybe Samogitian? Some words like Drūts, karaliūks, motuši seem like weird variants of Lithuanian words or are just different.
its just old lithuanian
@@emilislukosevicius6728 haha yeah I figured later 😂
Tapačios šaknys/ Same roots From proto Baltic The theory is that the all baltic traders learned Greak written language to trade better and that was the basis for all baltic languages. is why all balts sound simular
