Steve Miller With Randy Johnson Before A Diamond Backs Game on FSN Arizona on 08.08.08.
I wouldn’t mind another song with them - they are both in great shape, even Paul’s voice sounds better now than it has.
This guy belongs in TRRHOF.
Still not in the Hall of Fame?
Time keeps on slipping slipping into the future! Gotcha Steve.
1 of his songs I can do without, due to its sexual message. I’m not into that kind of stuff anymore.
Yup, I remember a lot of these songs. They’re interesting. I can pretty much recall the lyrics to each song. Don’t quote me on that though.
Excellent Steve - The Best.
He brought a lighter edge to rock at the right time with a bit of humor !! Song writing simple and fun and relatable
Just saw this past weekend in Houston. 79 and still rockin !!

Steve Miller Band was a big part of The San Francisco Free Concerts in Golden Gate Park in the 1960's. Also The Steve Miller Blues Band.
I think his first 5 albums are really his best. always had a great band. saw him in 72 or 73 at a backed Keil auditorium st Louis mo. played with his band for about a half hour the band left and he grabbed a 12 string acoustic and amazed the place, you could hear a pin drop. not an easy thing to do. and when he wants to he can really play the blues. journey from eden, going to Mexico, liven in the USA all great songs that got an awful lot of airplay on fm stations but am was where the charts were. Vaya Con Dios Steve
Since my teenage years (and even before I think), I really loved Steve Miller Band's songs! What an amazing man and artist! A great frontman as well with a very fine sense of humour! Much respect, all the best, and many blessings from a great Steve Miller fan from Romania! Rock on! 🤘
You can't look like a Vice Principal and expect to be in the Hall Of Fame. There needs to be some freak flag flying. Long stringy hair, some tatts. I mean, talk about a Viagra commercial! (Lol Xox).
Steve Miller 1 of the top 10 rock bands of all time
Mighty show, thanks,I bought an Ibanez artist in the late 70s because he played one.
So awesome. He did Summerfest in Milwaukee last year, what a treat. He just has that Midwest humble, hard working, personable style. The music is some of the best you'd hear from the 70's.
A rock star? Hell yes he is! The rock and roll hall of fame don't know shit! Rock on Steve Miller!
Starting from @0:50 Yes we DO realize Also, why narrate the title of each song immediately after he SANG it 😂😂🤣
It shows just how ridiculous and out of touch the RRHOF is. It’s ridiculous this guy isn’t in there
His songs are rock classics! Great guy so down to earth and humble they don’t make ‘em like that anymore. nobody can touch the GrEAT Steve Miller!
First album that I ever had that I procured (thanks, Mom) was Fly Like An Eagle. Mom said that I could pick out one record, I had 0 idea what I was looking for but the cover was just so cool to me. The album was right out front on display, a new release 1976. This was the same year that I joined band as a drummer in school and had a snare drum. I would be in my room following the song with just the snare and fell in love with the drummer, and the songs. I've owned every subsequent Steve Miller output since. I love playing along on my guitar now, sometimes my drums, but always singing. From the Seattle area myself, Steve Miller is a true legend in my eyes! THANK YOU STEVE MILLER BAND!!
As a young german boy as the age of 14 i got first contact to bluesrock by his Song, take the money and run, within the rolling guitar solo., from then on i knew thats it. Bluesrock is what i like most, Steve, George thorogood, rory gallagher, thin lizzy, gary moore, bluesband and bto were always my favorites.
Normal guy? He's a fucking legend. He was my first love and even though I've moved on to Punk, Indie, and anything obscure Steve was my pioneer. What he was doing in the 60s was the indie of today.
He is anything but Normal… Just the fact that he’s still down to earth is so amazing! He knows he’s a legend, but takes it in stride…
Just saw him in October 2022. Still playing and singing just as good as ever! 👍
When Steve takes the guitar off he’s just “me again”. I wish I knew more about him. The man behind the music sort of thing. What music does he like? Movies? Sports? I don’t think we will ever know but I’m happy playing his music and it’s a joyful thing. 🙂
It would be so great to sit with him and listen to his stories. Great storyteller.🙂
I love his backstory! Such a hardworking musician.
Maybe they should have had someone who actually listened to his music do the interview. She didn't know "fly like an eagle" Are you kidding me!
If youre gonna learn the guitar Les Paul was the man
This guy is so full of himself.BS he told Capitol records as he said 😃 what a joker
Great music and humble, yes he's a Rock Legend. I'm sure musicians would agree
Bret Micheals said "Nobody wants to hear new music from POISON. Steve Miller is still playing one album from 30 years ago, you only need to write great music once."
Of course he's a rock star. The heritage alone is the bomb. I was a 20 year old when I was turned on to his music. It's been part of my life ever since. I taught my daughter at 6 how to skate to, Keep On Rocking Me Baby.
His Greatest Hits package is one of the best ever! Solid rock!
To have Les Paul show you how to play chords as a child is greatest story ever. Even with Les Paul as a mentor, Miller preferred playing Fender Strats!
aussies love this guy, he has had so many hits here in australia
While Steve's music is huge and I like all of it, he was my idol for these two songs: *Blues Without Blame*, and *Gangsters Back* . (Gangsters Back is not to be confused with 'Ganster of Love' the two songs aren't even similar, both great though, it's just that I was into Blues and Steve was one of the very best).
Fantastic life story. Bless him.
Should have had someone who st least knows his music to do the interview!
I love Steve Miller. I have since I was a little girl
I saw Steve in 1978 at the first concert at Giants stadium in NJ, I was 11.
She doesn't know his music :)
He kind of reminds me of Russell Crowe. Looks a bit like him in earlier days and is a bit of a maverick
Dope
Massive cheeseball for years, but he also had many years of making some great rock n' roll; great music in general. See 1968-'72, '76-'77.
Did not realize all those hits were steve Miller
I wish i could be just a normal guy, like Steve is....lol
