You're showing genuine emotions on trail which is very brave. I don't subscribe or watch many other walking channels because I find them all annoying with their constant fake happy trails bs which tells me they are not real long distance walkers/backpackers because no one is happy or enjoys every mile of any trail. You reviewed other places well so I would respect your views. It doesnt look my sort of place. The print of the Culloden picture in Forces manor. Didn't like that. They used Jacobite prisoners as models for that painting. I think the camera bars effects you get are due to the fluorescent lights. They pulse at a different speed to the camera fps so that is why you get that. The final day is always mixed. Looking forward to getting home but also wanting to stay out on the trail. I also like an early start if I'm up. Pity the folk in the tent didnt😂 What a weird place to pitch. So well done. It really was an odd place to pitch lol. The only thing I could think is they wanted to be next to the water but it is so close to the open grass area at the bothy is still doe snot make much sense. Thanks for the tip on the lighting, could not figure our for the life of me why it was so weird. I had no clue about the history behind that painting. The whole place was just an off vibe. Listed as a hotel but clearly ran more like a hostel in term of the kitchen. Enviormental health would have had a field day had the watched in to the kitchen area like that, things in the hallways are a fire hazard and walking into urine all over the toilet seat was disgusting. Wish I had snapped photos and reported to be honest. Think I was too shocked.

Another enjoyable video. Thanks. When you went through Fersit (following the Hiker App route) did you end up effectively walking through someone's garden who appeared to be trying to hide the route from walkers? After a boggy section and crossing an old bridge with small pine trees growing on it (!) you end up in the middle of a large logging area (still on the Hiker App route). Saw interesting cave / tunnel entrance (gated and secured) leading under a section of woodland that had not been felled. Still trying to work out what it was. Cheers.
