We all headed to Dallas, Texas to see the solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. Although warnings for storms, tornadoes, strong winds, and softball-sized hail had been issued since the previous day, thankfully the weather turned out to be sunny with just a few clouds. I don't have the proper equipment, so it's only a little bit, but I'd like to share my experience. Thank you for watching!

2024/4/8に皆既日食を見るためにテキサス州のダラスに向かいました。前日から嵐、竜巻、強風、ソフトボール大の雹の注意報が出つつも、ありがたいことに少し雲があるくらいの晴天になりました。機材がちゃんとしているわけではないので少しだけですが、体験を共有できればと思います。

I saw your video before we went there and this is probably my favorite mission! There’s something about the secluded area of this church i find enchanting. Must have been magical to stare at the skies at night!

I attended Camp Oljato Boy Scout Camp at Huntington Lake in 1971. I always dreamt of continuing up the road to Lake Edison and Florence Lake, but never made it. Thanks for taking us along on your trip. I really enjoyed your video.

No.... Unfortunately, when we were there, it was late🥲 It looks like a day time, but it was already after 5. I wish we had more time! Thank you for the information. I should try a pie next time!😆

Thank you for this. I’ve passed the sign for Hell’s Backbone since 1976 but never ventured out there. This summer I think I will give it a go. Got to be better than driving a bulldozer over 2 pine trees over the backbone.

In planning to Grand Canyon national park .i have downloaded this and printed .i will get card in Grand Canyon park ?
Thank you for the comment. 😄 I think so. When we went to Yosemite, we got it at the gate. Unless they run out of it, I think they carry the plastic card. If they don't carry it, they would tell you where you can get the card. Have a wonderful trip

I love Zion national park. It has been a few years since I have been there. Wonderful tour of the cabin. Nice ranch and resort and great information. Love that pool. Thanks for sharing

That's right! I don't think it's that well known. I found the information from a map, then website. I saw other resort as well, so this kind of style may be becoming more popular. There seems to be a history to be like this. It was really interesting to read their history! Thank you very much for the comment

I have always wondered what this place is like! Great pool. We stay on the east side too, I think it's a holiday inn. They have a great restaurant that has great pies! Beautiful footage of the trails 😊 Great share

Just a quick plug: Hell's Backbone Grill is my favorite restaurant in the world. I've altered vacation plans just to stop there. And this road is amazing. The bridge is a real thrill for me. Thank you!

偶然見つけたという、素晴らしい絶景を教えていただきありがとうございます。エスカランテ周辺にこんな場所があるなんて知りませんでした。凄く険しい地形の上にかかる橋、本当に驚きですね！
ほんとそうなんですよ。全く予定になくて想像もしてませんでした。英語の方のビデオに、おじいさまが橋の建設に関わった方からコメントいただいたりして、歴史を感じる思い出のビデオにもなりました。歴史に関わった誇りをかんじて、ワクワクしました😄 メインどころではないので、予定に余裕がないと難しいかも知れませんが、可能であればちょっと違ったドキドキ感があるとおもいます👍
