what radio keys do you use to get old radio out of citreon c1

I was trying to do this today. Removed the dash and I was looking for the Eeprom box in the exact same position. I couldn't find it. Got tired and left it for tomorrow morning. Seeing this video I should be finishing the job in 30-45 minutes. I have spent 4 hours today lol. Great video. Thanks guys.

Interesting to see what's under the dashboard of my Yaris! (Can't help thinking that there must be an easier way to re-program what is an ordinary eeprom than dismantling the interior of the car.) The chip is a 1998 vintage ATMEL 344 (93C56A) which contains only 516 bytes (arranged as 256 16-bit words).

Its working for 508 2012 keyless key ?

Seems a very primitive way of reading EEPROM content, a SOIC clip or adapter would be better solution

Okay this is when there is no key at all . I was looking to create a spare key.

isn't this the long way around to do this. Other Toyotas can be set into key programming mode. without assembling the vehicle. I once had a key programmed to the same vehicle and I'm pretty sure the dashboard was not taken off. I have 5 of this vehicles and rent them out. Only one of them have a spare key. Next you will need to separate each one of the wires inside the car harness, then you need to take out all the coolant and the oil out of the engine and finally you will need to disassemble the transmission. once you do this your key will be programed ;) Thanks for the video i was figuring out how to dissasemble de A/C panel!

Are you crazy? Remove half of the car to program a key? OBD machine will do it without all of this hassle

So lets work this through,ive got to take my car to bits,buy all the equiptment needed to connect the epron,buy touch clone to prog key etc.Sounds like Peugeot charge of 150 pounds for new key sounds cheap,just saying.
