Was insanely annoying to do solo but I don't think he will be super difficult with a team, theres only a few of his attacks that do enough damage to oneshot a dps with no bell support character, but most of his attacks only did about 7-8k damage. The biggest tip I can give, just pull him away from the ground meteor circles so your not fighting him and needing to dodge ground attacks too.

Jiyan will clear Tempest just fine, I have a Jiyan vs Holograms video as well if it helps.

@@unsoughtspace Do you have a community discord I could ask good players for help in, This new Tower of adversity they added is hard, other than Xiangli yao and Jiyan which I've invested a lot in, I'm stuck with Calcharo, he's so unfun and I despise him. so I'm wondering who I could ask for advice on building a new team, I'm thinking Havoc Rover, Danjin, but I'm not sure how that team works.

I wish you luck with the fights! Just be aware, Monkey is currently bugged where the clones sometimes spawn but then despawn before they finish their attack. Can be a blessing but its more then often just annoying.

True, its good they at least know about it and have some events with leveling materials next patch.

God it would be so cool to solo the bosses with Vergil or Dante! I'd have to learn to style on them instead of just getting the clear.

It's good to see the FBI hasn't been corrupted by the allure of ecchi animes. I only know Highschool DxD but this would genuinely make me laugh if they collabed with any of these. I wouldn't say no.....but I think they should add a dating sim first.

I never played it, pretty sure it was a ps exclusive but I also only ever heard "it was bad". I wouldn't mind though, I'm sure Kuro would make it good if they wanted to collab with them. Has Drakengard 3 ever done a collab before?

​@@unsoughtspace It was kind of held back by a poor framerate and weird game design choices... The story and music though, they are absolutely incredible and carry the entire game. It deserves more love and a collab with wuthering waves would be amazing. The only collab it had (as far as I know) was with Nier Reincarnation, which unfortunately ended service a few months ago. But yeah, Drakengard 3 still remains way too underappreciated.

100%. PGR is a lot closer than WuWa but still Kuro seems to like the NieR universe a lot and in my opinion did one of the best NieR collabs I've ever played next to FFXIV x NieR. I reckon WuWa x NieR would be pretty high on their list too.

I can understand that and I agree PGR would be the best choice. However I don't tend to mind crossovers with other IPs as long as its done well. Monster Hunter has had a lot of great collabs even in gacha games, so has NieR. But the more important factor is the companies in the collab. Kuro did a great job with both NieR and BRS in PGR so I don't think they will half arse a collab for WuWa no matter what they decide on. However I hope it came across but the Space Marine 2 was a joke. Not only would it look ridiculous but it wouldn't ever make sense no matter how hard you tried.

Yeah, getting resources in this game feels pretty slow, I wouldn't have maxed him so early if I hadn't prefarmed for about 2 weeks.

Thats a fine idea, depending on what team your running and how your playing it, that could work well. I don't imagine you'll lose out on that much damage since its just one hit, maybe about 5k. If you're running Yinlin, you will lose out on a lot more.

@@unsoughtspace true depends on team, I use it on Sanhua, while for Yinlin I brute forcing buffs before Ult.

I cant comment on that, I don't have the battlepass weapon or the standard weapon so testing his performance with those is outside my capabilities. So I dunno if it is a must have but its BIS for sure.

Thats true, I thought about mentioning her for quickswap but I don't typically play that way so my opinion wouldn't really mean much. Yinlin is good for amplifying his damage which is more than enough to nuke anything the game can throw at you currently.

Thats a good question. I won't cover all the different types of gameplay WuWa has in a comment so overall if S is the highest tier, I wouldn't put him any lower than high A but for me he 100% belongs in S. He has so much potential in a lot of different teams and also solo play. He might fall off eventually since he is selfish and really only drives the team, so if we get a better main dps, he'll probably fall off pretty quick. But that should be a long way off.

@@rububunny13 I have thought about that, problem is I haven't gotten to really test characters like Jinshi, Zhezhi, Lingyang and find out their strengths and weaknesses since I don't own them. However I am considering it for the future.

I did, its more a playstyle choice than a meta choice though. I didn't really care about the dps, as long as I like the echo and Mech is an awesome ability that matches him pretty well.

@@unsoughtspace Honestly, when you factor in the time/rotation breaking things you need to do to take full advantage of VT, LT is a dps increase for Yao unless you run dual dps quickswap. The low motion values for Tempis or Thundering are so bad, plus needing to skill and find a place for a heavy attack makes VT not optimal, especially if you are soloing.

46.8% Liberation DMG from echoes alone, but he is also getting another 48% from the weapon so that can't be ignored.

In terms of the math, there are a lot of factors that go into which will do more damage for your Xiangli Yao but in summary, pick the set with better stats (Yeah I know, generic response but its true). In terms of gameplay, I wouldn't give up Mech for anything else so I like LT, but if you are a quick swap enjoyer, you might get more use out of VT with Tempest. If I was to recommend one, if you have one of the two sets already built and you're happy with the way it plays, run that, if not try all the echoes out and pick the one with a playstyle you like and build a set around that.

@@dplayer2693 You would absolutely benefit from a better crit ratio, you want to aim for 1:2 (after you minus 100cd) to maximize the average dps you're getting from your stats but what you currently have should be enough. If you also have his weapon, my Xiangli Yao is similar to yours with slightly more crit damage and less crit rate and he is clearing the Holograms and ToA bosses solo just fine. He is on Lingering Tunes though.

@@anhtiepvien-crewslife6288 been trying to get a good crit dmg 4 cost for 2 weeks, its been terrible, in the last 2 days ive leveled 10crit dmg pieces but they all came out terrible, i guess ill be stuck with crit rate til the gods of rng actually favor me.

Lmao I originally had the exact same thinking, MA was his echo as far as I was concered but even after playing with it, I wouldn't want to go back to Tempest or Thundering. It flows so well with the rest of his kit.

I ended up sticking with Mech for Xiangli Yao and I do not regret it one bit. I don't dislike the Void Thunder echoes but Mech just flows too well to give up.

I don't keep track of what's the most optimal sorry, I just use what I like. However I have tried both and I've had better success with Void Thunder (Electro) for both solo and team play, if you don't have her signature weapon, probably Moonlit would be better since your main dps will likely be doing a lot more damage so Heron + Moonlit passive helps out a lot. However if you want to play her in quick swap, Void Thunder with Tempest would probably be the best choice. I run my Yinlin on Void Thunder with Tempest.
