GIANT Maine Lobster Roll
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.3 года назад
Summer time in New England, and that means it is the best time for lobster rolls! I take a short road trip up to Wiscasset, Maine to try a well known, GIANT lobster roll. I made sure to take COVID precautions while out. I wore my mask whenever I was by people and I maintained 6ft social distancing. While recording without my mask no one was near me, I had a nice spot by the water all by myself....

Ted's VS K.LaMay's Steamed Cheeseburgers
Просмотров 14 тыс.4 года назад
Central Connecticut is the home of a unique cheeseburger experience. Leave the grills at home, because we are visiting two of the originators of the steamed cheeseburger. EDIT: Yes. I goofed when talking about Ted's cheeseburger they use cheddar NOT mozzarella. Frankly, Ted's was such a very mild cheddar, that it tasted like mozzarella. So Ted's loses more points as far as I'm concerned and I n...

Secret/Hidden and the you go to Stani!🤣
you guys pigged-out...oink, oink.
Stani is all the money.
Well I'm from Utica and I've never heard anyone use the phrase "steamed cheeseburgers"
Raw onion is revolting!!!!!
I can't stand it either. People need to understand, onions are for cooking.
Τη πραγμα είσαι ρε μεγάλε πως κατάπινεις έτσι....
Useless if you don't post names or adresses man
Names of these restaurants appear in yellow text with the outside shot of the building. I'm not sure how you missed that. There is then this great search function called "Google". If you type the name of the restaurant and "Athens Greece" it will provide you with the address. So the video does have everything you need in order to find these places.
Teds is the original. When the family sold it the new owners are using a cheaper cheese
Great content!
This market (26.2.2024) exists only as a shell of a building!
That's sad to hear 😞.
I like the food.
Ted's is awesome. I remember going there
All home grown...amazing!

Charleston has so much great food everywhere!
Welcome to Charleston, fantastic picks! Everything looked delicious!
Thanks. And it was all delicious!
Glad you enjoyed yourself in Charleston! Loads of good eats! Hopefully Shane enjoyed the to go box of the chopped pimento cheese sandwiches!
Thanks again for inviting me out to your boat to cook. The entire trip was a blast.
Look at you living your best life! I'm so glad you got to go down south again! :D Between those donuts and that crab chowder, I was salivating. This looks like so much fun. Also, I cackled when you got the camera in poor Shane's face, LMAO. Can't wait for the next video!
That she-crab soup was insanely good😋. Thanks for watching!
3.08 that is gyros not slouvaki.slouvaki is chicken on skewer.gyros is pitta with meat tomatoes onions tzatziki and fried potatoes
is not typical cheese in bougatsa , its sweet cheese similar to creme
LaMay's>Ted's
One ingredient that not everyone tends to have in their fridge but can really elevate your fried rice is oyster sauce! Fried rice is great because everyone has their own variations on the dish that suit their tastes best. Great video
Oh yeah, oyster sauce is a good add on. A little bit goes a long way.
The first one is like what my mom make, not a fan because it felt dry and oily. Would gobble up the second one. I think the most exciting fried rice I eat is one with strawberries and meat (forgot what meat, I think mutton).
strawberries? interesting
@@bascoallysabeyoncem.5156 yes. the idea is some sort of sweet, sour, and salty fried rice. A less insane one would be adding unripe mangoes.
Fruit in my fried rice is certainly outside the box... no way Uncle Roger would approve, lol.
@@DaltonSwett well, just tell him it is authentic recipe from Indonesia and you do not use jam-ie oliver hehehe. I do not know if there are any translated recipes out there (tho I am willing to translate), but there is nasi goreng strawberry, nasi goreng nanas (pineapple) that is served inside half a pineapple, nasi goreng buah naga (dragon fruit), and nasi goreng mangga muda (unripe mango). You can google those words for fancy images ^_^ .
Go Dalton!!
❤
Fricassee and Stew
Lucky bstrd... LoL~!
The sharpness of K lamays can be too much, still good though Ted's to me is heaven every bite, Definitely Ted's for me.
there is no farmer market on Sundays
I think it 's important to clarify to populus that the cheese is also steamed .
GORDON RAMSAY SENPAI 🤣 I freaking love this video! Your editing is on point. And I died at the squirting part LMAO. Garlic powder is everything! This looks so damn good, I'm tempted to try this. Also, that crunch at the end was *chef's kiss*. Awesome video!!
Thanks Jojo. And I do hope senpai notices me 🥲
Very well done video. Delicious-looking steak, that didn't seem well done. Medium rare, maybe.
Well cooked, not well done. I cooked the steak to medium rare. A few drinks in, made it a little harder to pick my words, lol.
Thoroughly enjoyed this mate!
Both places look delicious, nice review Sir, Ted's uses a vienna bun/roll & either Wisconsin or Vermont white mild cheddar, K's bun is a little to much bread/bun, but I'm sure they use an aged sharp cheddar from Wisconsin or Vermont, the 2 best states for quality cheese, I'd eat either one.😅
hahaha must of been the 1time having a sour, personaly i love sours theres a brewery called philips brewing n it just won tons of world brewery awards last year but it was there dino sours that get everyone talking about them like crazy. sours n saisons are my fav. Theres even smoothie sours where its got lots of fruit still in it harder to find but some places make them. I also love barrel aged beer n some places but a lot more expensive u can get barrel aged beer that has had fruit added to it at some point in the ageing process.
best thing about this video is that you don't talk like the usual americans screaming all over the place. It's kinda hushed and I appreciate that.
Back in the day when Ted's had different rolls, which I think they may have gotten from a local bakery, I liked them better. Now I prefer K Lamays hands down.
Here’s the history…… I’m from that area and grew up eating at Ted’s. A young teen named Kevin worked for Ted’s, he learned how to make the burgers from working there, the cheese is a secret (people in Connecticut LOVE it), Kevin never got the details on the company they get the cheese from. Kevin went and opened K LeMays. I personally dislike the VERY salty and overly sharp cheese at LeMay’s. The bun is like having a small burger inside two birthday cakes. Ted’s is light and fluffy and you can actually get away with eating two! That’s just my opinion and a little Ted’s not so known history 😊
Delicious food and some amazing live music are found here. Make a special visit and share with friends.
This is one of my favorite Tavern to go to. Just love the food and the atmosphere. Love this place!!
It’s quite boring in this island
Eating ability on this guy is next level🙂
Walter? Is that you?
Call me Heisenburg, lol
Hey man loved the video! If you post more consistently you'd definitely get more recognition!

You must dip that beautiful Greek bread in those juices that comes from the Greek salad.
