So i've seen a version of this guitar being sold that instead has the same green finish on the headstock, and only a toggle with a knob on each side. Any idea what's up with that? Are there slightly different versions?

@metropolisguitarmx1959 Brother, would you recommend this guitar? I just picked up the Jackson 7/8 string multi-gig bag for this guitar. Was thinking of getting the new Jackson JS 22-7 King V guitar, or the Jackson JS 22-7 RR HT Roads guitar. Sadly, those guitars won't fit in the gig bag I just got for the 7 string guitar. Since those guitars are flying V 7 string instruments. So I'm sticking with Jackson's original Dinky shaped JS 22-7 HT guitar. Super excited to get mine buddy. Let me know if this is a must-buy guitar, and would you recommend it. This will be my second 7 string guitar. I had an ESP LTD M-17 7 string that I was disappointed with. It had a 25.5 inch scale. The ESP stock pickups were good. Low B string was hard to stay in tune at time. I lost 2 ferrules, while changing strings on that guitar. On top of that, the output jack broke when I had my strap on my guitar while standing up. and the guitar fell off the strap. So now I use those D-adario poly lock straps. With a loaded spring on either end while the mechanism on each end, locks onto each strap button of any guitar I choose to hold while standing up, or sitting. Super excited for this guitar. It's going to sound sick through my Line 6 Spider V60 MKII amp!

I have a JS32 and a JCM800. I cannot get mine to sound like that. Is there anything else in you signal chain?

The Early Chinese Models 2010- 11 sounded Way Better than this not much Twang in that Indonesian model the early Chinese models have different Pickups will alot of Country Twang that sound sucks ...

I own several USA Jackson king V's. Excellent guitar and worth every penny. I was at Guitar Center a few days ago and play the King V JS32T. I was quite surprised how good they are. I mean REALLY good. Kick ass guitar, especially for the price.
