Which is more effective, increased damage of a specific type, or something like “increased weapon elemental damage”? Is 15% increased weapon elemental damage better than 15% increased cold damage? Purely based on the fact that the former increases all 3, cold lightning and fire, whereas the latter only increases one?

Hi! Tell me if I wear a ring that converts 100% of lightning damage to cold. With the Archmage ability, will the damage from this ability be converted? If I only use cold abilities. (meteor example). I checked it using the DPS game calculator. It doesn't add any damage. But is it true?

Wow, this video is gold! Man I love these types of videos. I would love to see a video on how to scale damage in the early game or what causes the most impact in the early game on the passive tree. I know mid game your skills are kind of taking shape so you can adjust your tree bases ok the new skill combos, but deciding early game passive nodes can sometimes be confusing. Thanks!

at time stamp 4:34 your total was 65% and if you change to decemal , you move two decimals spaces to the left and get .65 . your math gave you 1.65 why?

Where we put the critical damage bonus from our tree/other items vs the weapon Critical Damage Bonus? I know you can just calculate manual but will be nice to add an base critical damage and a weapon critical damage. Another huge thing, increased Elemental Damage with Attacks is very strong, and the rune too and ppl don't take it in account.

Thank you for the hard work! For the attack speed and every other stats, can i "trust" the game and just take for exemple the 1.63 atk speed and put it in the spreadsheet without calculating everything myself to be faster, even if it's a little bit less accurate ?

Why would anyone use elemental runes like storm rune which gives measely 1-12 lightning dmg on a weapon instead of iron rune which gives %increased phys damage on the weapon? Isn't iron rune always better on a weapon than a elemental rune since the base phys quite high therefore the %increased also will be high. Wouldn't the resultant damage for a lightning build be higher with iron runes instead of a storm rune?

i don'T see how you get 3449 dps with Lightnig arrow and 2265 with rain of Arrow? I have the exact the pssive skill tree and near the same equipment and in only have 2345 DPS (LA)

Okay one thing I didn't get is if we have physical damage converted to lighting, do increase physical damage nodes on the skill tree increase both the physical and lightning part or just the physical part? Like does the phys damage first get increased and then it makes sense to take phys damage nodes if a lot is converted or not?

Very helpful video. I always knew what mods are multiplicative and what are additive and I knew how multiplicative worked but I had no clue how addition to the damage formula worked. Basically I didn't know the formula was split in different multipliers that's why. Also, good to know that weapon stats are applied before conversion because I thought I could scale my lightning damage only with lightning damage on the weapon while actually Physical is much better to scale with.

Heya, I just tested it and noticed minor issue. At first I thought, why would I add up all attack speed modifiers, they cancel each other out if the build stays the same. Though you could still compared builds that way. After a second thought though, with different attack speed and different crit chances, there should be a difference in dps. I tested it by adding 500% "CC Increase" and disabling/enabling martial tempo and the result was that it made no difference, which I think might not be true. Sorry if I'm not really helping though, it's 4 in the morning and before I do it wrong, I just thought I'd tell you about it.
