I guess you can make notes on the margins in your Quran copy too (but I don't know what the scholarly opinion is so not completely sure). I also highlight verses in my Quran copy and put sticky notes on the margins. About your hijab, you can also use those magnets just to keep it in its place, like under your chin you can use two magnets. <3 <3
