This was the first concert I got to see on my own. The very first was Carl Perkins at the fair in Chilhowee Park and then was dragged to a Ventures concert at the 82 Worlds Fair. But this was the first time I bought my ticket, went by myself, it was awesome. Still listening to RATT regularly .

its a shame video footage of these concerts are either not made available or do not exist. there are "rumors" that a devastating fire destroyed many of the Bill Graham Productions library of concerts on film and audio.

I was there!! I lived in Tulare. Still a huge fan of original dokken. My favourite band in the 80s. Thanks for sharing. Brings back many memories.

Was the Detonator Tour the last time Ratt were able to play and headline Arenas?

I was barely a teenager and this was one of the first concerts I've ever been to. I was a die-hard Ratt fan and this concert was absolutely amazing...probably Ratt at their peak. I could be mistaken but for some reason I remember Bon Jovi opening for them....but I could be wrong.

I was playing golf in Alameda that day..bout 1/2 mile away..you could see the Coliseum..and boy could ya feel the thumping ..every time I went to putt. The ball starting boping up n down...😂
