Great video! The relatively high stock prices, compared to earnings, book value, etc., shouldn't scare us too much. It's the nature of the tech industry, which is becoming more dominant. My analysis of the year is simple: As January goes, so goes the year ;) Well, historically, it has proven more reliable than many forecasts.

Dont you think a market correction is due? Warren Buffett has put a ton of money to one side and it seems like he is waiting for something drastic to happen in the market. It just doesn't seem very natural the way It is all skyrocketing at the moment

I think AI productivity will appear in the tech industry first, along with income from selling AI-related products and services. So, invest in tech in 2025

Regardless of whether the market rises by 8% or 19%, the key is to stay invested :). For 2025, I'll focus primarily on tech stocks, as I believe the NASDAQ will continue to outperform the S&P 500.

Add all the reasons mentioned and then multiply by Project 2025 and Tariffs.

Dear Jeff - thank you for the excellent video and learnings. Frankly speaking, Goldman Sachs predictions are unreliable. They predicted 70% recession (& many other predictions turned out to be untrue). The stock market would give around 12-15% in long run like before. Point is - there seems to be an impending recession (or ~30% downturn) which hopefully will be short lived. Post that things will be as usual according to me. I am not an economist or MBA. After new president comes we can see some traction (politicians across the globe prefer to blame everything bad on their opponents/predecessors 🙂)

Goldman had once predicted 300$ oil. It sounds like they throw predications like a whole bunch of darts.

GMO prediction is lower and the company predicts negative returns in the next 7 years for the US stock market.

I get the message but does the same apply to the UK stock market which is less highly geared

Dear Jeff - Thank you for the excellent video and all your hard work. Can you kindly share your thoughts of recession. My friends in India tell that helicopter money & stimulus was used to pull the markets and maybe sometime the time bomb may blast. Do you also think the same. The most reliable recession predictor is the Yield Curve is inverted since 1.5+ years now and there is no recession. So has soft landing already achieved ? How do you see the markets in next 1.5 years. Kindly share your thoughts. Is the earnings growth real or it is because of cost cutting measures (e.g. layoffs going on since 2 years) and inflation power ? Kindly share your opining. Have a nice day

Investing in stock market is giving a well noted results after many years between eight to fifteen years then you can enjoy the results

I put my investment in as a lump sum after researching and discovering similar analysis to your presentations vs DCA. It’s worked out incredibly well but I too had an almost immediate significant decline in the positions I took. I have however a very high tolerance to risk (which I can quantify and understand) so did not sell and crystallise the paper losses over the next few months. I do agree however that many will panic and sell which can be catastrophic. I have to admit the analysis highlighting that in the majority of cases that lump sum would produce better results than DCAing into the market seemed counterintuitive to my brain but the analysis is sound. Another great video for investors. Time in the market and not timing the market is key if you’re an investor. Timing the market is more akin to speculating/ gambling IMHO than investing.

Excellent presentation, very clear and detailed. I’ve been invested in the S&P for a few years now so I am aware of all the things highlighted but this would have been incredibly useful information if I was just starting out. Subscribed, there are not that many UK focused channels that give good impartial and unbiased investing advice (I notice you didn’t try to push any sponsors or even affiliate links to platforms like T212 which is refreshing). Your channel deserves to grow. One minor thing I’d mention the background music was a bit distracting, maybe a touch too loud for me, but I understand why people put things like this in to videos. Maybe I’m just getting old but I sometimes find it hard to filter out the music from the speech content.
