Thanks for making this video this is exactly what I was looking for. I got into Magic via Jumpstart a few weeks ago. I started with a an opened display for 60€ and had a lot of fun playing the 40 card format with friends. This Friday I'm invited to my first real evening of magic and I was looking for a guide on how to build 60 card decks out of the jumpstart halfdecks I have.

Dude I watched your video till the end and it SUCKED! Okay jokes aside I'm about 16 minutes in when you made that joke, and it's been really chill so far. I just love watching people open bulk magic boxes cause I'd love to one day get bulk magic cards myself. Commons are awesome. Really like the idea of making a pauper deck, but my current collection is probably only around 1000 cards total. Maybe less even... Been playing for 24 years, just haven't really gotten a huge collection over those years I guess. Love the idea of buying a random bulk and just building with whatever random stuff you can get. Instead of going online and buying each individual card to craft the most overpowered deck. That's no fun if you win every time and make your "opponents" (friends and family) hate playing against you. So commons I think are more fun to play with, generally speaking. Back in the day we'd just go to the store, buy a base deck and a few boosters and just build whatever out of that and roll with it. Good times.

Brand new to magic and just bought a lot of 4500 common/uncommon cards for $35 on eBay lol. Have bought a couple starter deck kits and planning on getting into Commander soon, but figured I'd practice deck building with this wholesale lot.

Card lot's are great for newer players, allows you to build kitchen table decks on draft power level and you can make a 360 card cube with the cards you find here. I've been playing since 2003, making decks with Draft chaff is my favorite way to play with friends. I'm generally looking for games that are fun and interactive rather than solely focusing on winning.

i got one of these from vintage stock for $24.99 i personally thing it was worth it. it was the only box that was sorted into one color, so as someone new to magic it does feel nice to have 1000 white cards to build and mess with. it surprisingly came with no lands too.

Why are your nails so dirty?

After not playing for more than 10 years; I just bought 30 Brothers War booster packs today. It was the last in stock from the seller. They get here in about a week. I'm tempted to open them on camera for some reason. To share the experience in some way I guess. lol I've also picked up some of the more recent cards from a friend I haven't seen in a while at a LGS that just opened. I'm already building my first Commander desk after getting use to things again. Great video my friend! 🤍💙🖤❤💚

Seedborn Ash is worth a couple of bucks. Great in Henzi, Toolbox Torre decks

$20 for pretty much any box of cards seems worth it if you just want to learn how to play. id buy it.

If you love to play limited. Try these decks, it’s like limited on steroids and 60 cards

My wife and I always played draft at home back in the day. Every time I tried to play standard, extended , modern, vintage and even 93/94 she wasn’t as interest as when we played limited. The way these decks play, is like when we used to make crazy limited decks, but better. She loves these things and I buy a few every month to change it up.

when I first started playing, I bought a couple of these to load up on filler cards I think I paid 35 bucks for 2 boxes and honestly it worked out well for me cuz I just wanted bulk to mess around with value-wise I probably got ducked, but value wasn't the purpose

Our LGS does something similar where you can buy $1 bulk bags of 100 cards. This had lead to some unique and fun ways to play the game. There's a player-ran league for "Grab Bag Commander"; and we also occasionally see a draft with them.

I just spent under 43.00 for 4k mtg cards coming out to be. .01045pr card. We have commander decks we can win by the 8-9th turns without it. Thank you for the video. Any tips on the set I'm getting besides color arrangement... Thank you I'm still waiting for it to arrive we are new to mtg. Not looking to get rich pulls by build with an play for cheap.

I'm getting a couple of these for my son - he's 7 and wants to play magic. These are great for young kids because there are no complicated cards. Its just attack with creatures and super basic spells. Appreciate you going over each of them.

I cannot possibly choose a favorite card but I like Thornbite Staff and Deathcloud and Necropotence and Nykthos and Heliod and old school Sheoldred and Norn I like all John Avon full art foil lands and all the art from Tempest and Judgement and......

the set variety is gonna be really nice for anyone new to magic, it'll help with getting used to some of the less common keywords, and just generally playing with a bunch of cards which weren't designed to work together, but have interesting combos regardless, which is pretty much all of commander below the cEDH level.

Honestly, I would buy some just as "card Stock" for diy spellcards and homebrew

If you buy from a vendor, all you get is bulk. If you buy from a garage sale, you might find treasures.

If i had 20$ to spend in magic, I would buy a bunch of packs of Jumpstart. You combine 2 of them and you get a playable 40 cards deck so you can battle a friend who takes 2 packs also.
