The block is assembled thanks to Ryan with Halbasch fabrication, and I just finished the head and timing it. Now it’s time to assemble the long block and start putting the accessories on. We are making progress.

Here is a quick run down of the internal components the 1.8t 20v motor is getting in order to run 500hp reliably. The 1.8t does not need all this done to make 500hp, however, I want to build a motor that has the capability of seeing 500hp without any worries. Many months have passed since I lasted posted a RUclips video. Big turbo upgraded gt3076r with a fully built 1.8t update on parts and progress. I quick update. I now have a short block and cylinder head ready to be disassembled so I can take it to the machine shop. The goal for the car is to make just over 500 wheel horsepower. A quick how to video on how to disassemble your current ugly plastic lenses on your mk4 golf/GTI. Stop sanding off the oxidation and install glass lenses. You will never have yellow headlights AGAIN.
