Sublimation on to Oracal 651 - GLOSSY VINYL STICKERS!!!
Просмотров 61 тыс.3 года назад
Video explaining the process I use to sublimate on to Oracal 651 vinyl to create GLOSSY vinyl stickers. Hope it helps! (Turn on caption/subtitles for more tips throughout the video)
Hot lamination on white oracle 651 is not very durable , it comes off easy …
Loved your presentation it's just to the point and very helpful, you should also continue it through the cutting process.
I love how you did this however my vinyl keeps puckering making ripples after heat pressing, any ideas as to why this is happening? Thank you in advance.
I have never used illustrator first off. I am having trouble with the first layer. When I left click on it, It won’t let me drag the layer box out into the image like you did and it won’t let me create a copy. Please help!!!
OMG, I have looked for so many videos on this and I FINALLY was able to do it. And your lovely accent to boot. Thank you thank thank you
how do you get versaworks into illustrator in the swatch libray
Oh my god, After endless attempts I have finally found someone who talks through it all properly!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Now try making work on Oracal 651-091 Gold
Life savor <3
Finally! A video that makes sense. I have watched so many confusing videos on this process. You make it so much more understandable. I think I can actually do this. Thanks, mate.
Vey easy to follow
Omg thanks so much and it’s really helpful now I can do the cut contour on all my designs ❤
I watched maybe 13 vids so far and yours was the first one that made it make sense. I thought we were subbing the oracle 651. I was also wondering how you could adhere it if it was laminated. You explained it all thank you so much 🙏
Thank you so much I have a large sheet of this oracle white sticker vinyl. I have been cutting A4 size papers to print directly from the sublimation printer most of the time it will work or will cause paper jam then I have to make it smaller but in the end will be so frustrated from this whole process. Thank you for saving me.
Hi good video bro, are these waterproof, and can you stick them to thee outside of a vehicle, thanks Andy
I would like to say hello from New Zealand :) And Thankyou! you sir have been a majoer help. Thanks so much for your simple and helping video :)
Thank you for creating this video. It really saved my butt and made a lot of things easier. ♥
Does it matter if you use gloss or matte vinyl, because the laminate is gloss anyway, I'm assuming, great video, made me finally understand the process.
Didn't work mate.
Someone please tell me why this is better or different then printing a normal sticker on sticker paper and covering it with a sticker laminate sheet. Isnt this juts extra steps i feel like there has to be a reason
So technically you're sublimating onto a laminate sheet, not onto Oracal 651...
I dont have ''mask'' section on my upper bar and I cant even find silluethes. Please helppp
Hi. I have a question. I've downloaded the file from Versaworks for the color swatches, but I only have 4 of them included. The PerfCutContour doesn't exist in the group. Do you happen to have a link to the file you downloaded?
Great tutorial. Can you specify which type of software you'd be using to do the RIP and CUT?
Thanks. I use Adobe Illustrator to create the cut line, save as a PDF then RIP in Versaworks (Roland)
@ccdesign296 Thank you! I can also confirm that this exact process words for Flexi
How do you stop static? I always get tiny dust particles, which stands out soo much on anything white.
Try using a Tack Cloth (you can get these from a car paint supplier) these use them for removing fine dust particles before spraying.
Thank you! So much
You're welcome!
Great video, been looking to find out why my perf cuts were double cutting on my new BN20. Followed your easy tutorial and no more double cuts! Thank you so much!
Thank you, pleased it helped you out. Happy Cutting!
Doesn't it need to be an SVG file to send it to the cutter....such as CRICUT or SILLOUETTE
I've always used a PDF. But no harm in trying saving it as a SVG
how do you send it to a CUTTER ???
How can you create the bleed after doing this!
Love the video I ran into a problem tho I don’t see the tab that says image trace
Hi, the image trace tab only appears when you add an image. Example: Click file and create a "page size" then add your desired image. Once the image is added, the image trace tab should appear. Hope this helps.
Great tutorial. I had NO CLUE how to do this and now, I can't wait to try it! Very easy to follow!
That was the easiest to understand video I’ve run across for this, THSNK YOU
Best ever, straight to the point and understandable content thus far!!
Can you share color settings. I've tried so many but after subbing mine color is so dull
Hello Thank you very much & a thousand blessings to you This helped. none of the other videos on this topic seemed to work for me but this did!
Well done.
Legend
;most underrated and easy tutorial of all.Being a beginner its so well explained and easy to get
Thank you this is the way to go!
Subbed. This is the most helpful video I've seen about this process.
So I tried this worked great. The only problem I’m finding is that I end up with little tiny bubbles is there any way to stop this?
If you are using a roller type laminator, and you have the option to adjust heat/speed settings, try those. Or maybe try switching brand of laminate pouches.
Is it water proof can I use it for car decals ?
Yes, I had some trial versions stuck on an outside window and they lasted for ages. I can't guarentee years but they certainly didn't fade or peel while I was testing.
Really helpful, thanks
Why r we laminating? To make the sublimation ink waterproof? Oh no u put laminate on first then ink. IDK PLease explain.
You help me a lot! Thank you so much! God bless you!
Searched through so many videos and yours was the only one that explained it in a way I could understand. Thank you
you don't need those sheets to sublimate on 651. Just lay your sublimate image down on the clear or white vinyl, tape down for 25 sec at 350 temperature and that's it
Dude. Thank you for thinking and communicating like a human.
Hi thank you for all the great advice. The one thing I'm not struggle with is which icc profile you put the printer on? thanks
