There is no possibility of dual nationality in Poland. Every Polish citizen can choose only 1 nationality he belongs to and it may give you special privilleges. If you are Polish citizen of non-Polish nationality and your nationality is recognized by the state you can be serviced in your language (Kashubian, German, Lithuanian, J*w, Ukrainian and I think Tatar too in some one town). You can have as many citizenships as you want, but only one nationality.

Hi, speaking of South America, I have a question about Uruguay. I heard that if you naturalize in Uruguay (legal citizen), you can keep your other citizenships, but you can't obtain any more citizenships afterwards; or you lose the Uruguayan one. Is that true? Do you know anything about it? Thanks

Title should read 'Central and Eastern European Citizenships Ranked' - the Visegrad countries are Central Europe and they hate being called 'eastern' when they are geographically in the centre of Europe.

They already are banned from being in politics in most countries - especially across CANZUK & CUNA. They're also banned from working many jobs, including manufacturing jobs and owning manufacturing businesses, in many countries.

Another country to now avoid. I really wish countries would stop doing this BS - all it does is create a 'do it online' visa in all but name. All it does is complicate things as there is no reason for the information to be needed by any country. Countries requiring eTA's shouldn't be allowed to call it visa-free, it should a separate category "BS required".

If those British Overseas Territories are accepting British taxpayer money, then the British taxpayer must be allowed to move there.

As of 2025, Romania is now a schegen member, and a future edsta country from march, i have both citizenships and the only advantage i get with the hungarian after march is visa free access to South Africa and Eswatini. Romania is also projected to have the normal edsta program so no single entry bullshit, as a citizen of both i will finally have a reason to get a Romanian passport!

I don’t think it’s about illegal migration per se; I guess that they’re not wanting shady individuals to run to the island as a getaway. The Caribbean already has issues with gun and drug trafficking and they’re looking at more ways to combat this.

My opinion is, they are in fear either because of things they have done themselves or for legitimate reasons. Remember the scandals over the past 2 years, possibly they fear retaliation or they have received threats and want to live in fear by adding the ETA.

Seychelles has also had this for a while, but it definitely didn't make my entry easier or faster. Did the required extra bureaucracy and went in 2023 with my Afghan girlfriend. Still got pulled aside, asked for bank statements, and had to wait an hour as they confirmed our return tickets with the airline. They could've asked for all that in advance with their system, but that's bureaucracy for you.

An Irishman can move to England tomorrow with no restrictions and enjoy the same freedoms in England as an Englishman, to no other nation on Earth does Britain extend that privilege to, and the same can be said of a British citizen in Ireland. You can also use the same phone charger, drive on the same side of the road, eat food that are from the same farms, switch on a gas fire in Dublin and have it piped from the same location thats supplying Leeds. If not for the currency difference, it would be hard to tell that they are independent countries

My old neighbour was a dual Estonian Russian citizen. Born in 2001 in Estonia to 2 Russian parents and carries both because Estonia cannot strip citizenship from birthright Estonians and the same applies for Russia.

Exactly, be British it’s so useless than even if you are British citizen you are not allowed to live in own British overseas territories totally no sense and control that the British citizen on mainland accept without arguing it.

ETIAS = ridiculous laws, bureaucracy? It makes no difference to genuine tourists and travellers. The same when I get my ESTA, Canadian or Australian ETA... A simple online process taking a couple of minutes and that's it. If a traveller isn't genuine, overstays, has a criminal record, managed to violate some rules in the past or is on some kind of a list then the system will prevent them from proceeding and they'll have to visit an embassy to apply for a visa. Doesn't seem like an unreasonable thing to record entry and exit.... If anyone needs a second passport, then he or she needs residence in that country or has a weak passport and needs access to other countries travelling. In both cases one has to go through the proper channels and not only buy one but actually have residence, learn the language and pass some strict tests.

From a Irish person, Our passport has been wrongfully and frivolously given out to Alot of people that are from non Irish decent and for multiple reasons, one being the right of travel in the EU, and I mean A - Lot. That being said, unless you have legitimate Irish ancestry, I would try for a different country instead of using ours to travel unless you are making a significant contribution to our country that helps the indigenous as I see a big reform happening soon on this issue

in Nordic countries we have a Schengen Area and Nordic Passport Union. For citizens of any Nordic country, identity documentation is legally not required to enter or reside within any other Nordic country.

Applying for ETIAS shouldn’t be a problem for me. However, when I entered Europe through France, I went through PARAFE (Passage Automatisé Rapide Aux Frontières Extérieures), which didn’t give me passport stamps. Later, when I left Europe through a Portuguese airport and met the border guard face-to-face, the agent scolded me for not having stamps! This was an unfair treatment. I just had to show my plane ticket on my phone app, which indicated the exact date I was admitted to Europe. Then, he let me go and told me that it’s realistic to request stamps the next time I travel to Europe. Honestly, this is very dictatorial! I’m considering getting dual and multiple EU passports to avoid this issue.
