Yes yés ❤❤❤❤
I was there. Good riding.
I had the same one. It came like that.. i think it was like a end of the year run or something.. ive looked EVERYWHERE for that bike as an adult and you have THE ONLY OTHER ONE IVE SEEN... idk what its worth. But i know id love to have it. Ever sell it possibly?
Thanks for the information. Good to know that there were other bikes like this. I haven't thought about it yet but if I do sell it I would let you know. You can also message me on Instagram so I have your contact info.
Chunky tubes and wishbones
@0:57 4 cameras capturing a sprocket bash to fakie :D
oh that church spot is on clark and hollywoodway in burbank california, a spit in the wind away from the old ride bmx office...fuck im old
BMX Dirt one of my favorite events in the X Games.
Rad frme
I remember Crazy train as the back ground music for Dave Osato?
That looks like a MIRRA pro frame
Why these clips are always timeless?
Never stop Rippin’ yall. 🤙🏾
Check out: YDKD hubs. You Don’t Know Dick Garden Grove California He made custom radial laced wheels for BMX in the 1970’s
Man, that's a nice wheel (wierd lace pattern?)and an interesting back story. But what I really want to know is; Is that tyre an ACS RL Edge? Because I can't tell as I'm watching this on a smartphone, and I'm as blind as a bat (from too much masturbation, he, he)? *Answers on a postcard to the usual address
Haha... No that's a Primo V-Monster tire
Beautiful build. I rode a STH and an AURA back in the day... i just finished building my white Hick. My frame is brakeless and theres so signs of any grind marks, as the paint and decals are OG. Pretty cool for sure.
His senses are completely unbelievable, Thank You Sensei for Your Greatness
Expendable youth
UGP face value was my favorite
i had one of those, broke the chainstay :(
I would love to find an engraved SOLID stem
Love that frame my friend when we was 17 sold me the Airmaster frame after buying himself a Hoffman Condor
Ooh shit!!!
I was at these Games! Chris Doyle gave my brother and me, we were like 12 and 11, his gloves after the contest. The were blue fox gloves. I wish I could say 20+ years I have them still 😂😂😂 After that all my Lavin posters went in the trash and my next bicycle was a six pack.
Seems to me look like the frame is DK S.O.B???
I have two different versions of the DK SOB and they are both different conpared to this frame. The closest thing to this is definitely a King Liberty
I have a set of Jad cranks
Outro gave me goose bumps. So sick. They don’t produce like this anymore
2:14 that might be a Jason enns - Volume Destroyer 🚴
I also have a Volume Destroyer and I can tell you that this is not a Destroyer. But the frame design is indeed similar
@@midschoolbmx awesome definitely fun to see the mid school bikes 💯
Bikeworx pegs! That was my little brand for a couple years. We made the Groovy (front pegs) and Chubby (rear). We made them at a time when all other pegs had a step down near the axle and they shredded shoes. Ours were 2" diameter from end to end with a smooth rounded end for the early years of flatland pivoting tricks. They were made way too thick because most flatland riders dabbled in street or skatepark, so durability was key but came with a weight penalty. Based out of Akron, Ohio and made in the same city. At one point, we co-sponsored Chase, Chad DeGroot, Dave Shaeffer, and Chris Young and were featured in BMX Plus, Ride BMX, and Props. Stoked to see you have a set and are enjoying their rareness!!
Man that's awesome. Thank you so much for the comment and all the infos. I was hoping I would find out more about bikeworx and these pegs some day so I'm stoked that you saw this video!
@@midschoolbmx🥰
Looks like a haro prototype backtrail frame 🤟
Yeah or Volume bikes frame and or a Nirve bikes all had that through top tube design
That Punisher was, and is still amazing. You have a great collection behind you. 🍻
Thanks. Over the years, I've definitely found more cool stuff than I could have imagined.
I'm still riding an old macniel ruben frame, '02 model, but I've got a set of old fishbone ally pegs with the blue rollers on them and a billet gyro too. And some old pedals, tenderizers, demolition and JC oddessey ones
Sweet! I have a Ruben too. Been meaning to build it up forever but haven't had time yet.
Thanks for sharing.
If anyone is looking to sell the props demo tape hmu. I’d love to see a full video on the jay bike. Amazing stuff!
Thanks, I'll try to make a video about the Punisher some time
What happened to the BMX Vert vid
She was so turned on by Jay😅
Trey jones would love that props video
I believe he is actually the only guy I know who has one too. Or at least used to have. He's been selling a lot of his stuff lately
Rad video dude 🔥🔥🔥
Fuckin wow 🤩
Yo wtf this was the coolest video ever. I don’t fuck with old school bmx stuff, tbh I’d be lying if I said I owned any mid school stuff even, but mid school stuff has to be the coolest time in bmx history imo. Love it. Those forks? So dope
Thanks man. glad you liked it. Mid School was a great time for sure!
@@midschoolbmx appreciate the reply brotha. Can’t wait to go through your video catalog and then see future uploads. Keep at it man!
@@midschoolbmx I’d love to see some more info on those forks, the KHE ones. Do you know a website I can read up on them at? What were they called again? Gnarly fork for sure.
That Boss frame! Wow! Nice episode man! 🤌
Thanks man!
WOW!! dude your collection is amazing! when I was 14 years old in 1994 I raced aba bmx for a local bike shop in Jax beach Florida. the owner of the bike shop gave me his personal Hutch star to race. I think it was from 1977 it had been up graded with answer 1" threadless fork and spin carbon fiber wheels with tons of other goodies like aa pro tires and a 190mm crupie 3 piece crank withe hollow titanium spindle. the entire bike weighed only 7.3 lbs and it was a chro-molly frame. I was so embarrassed to ride it at the races back then because it was an old bmx but now I would be super stoked to have any bmx at all. I am trying to save up enough to buy a cheap one from Walmart just so I can do some flatland riding. your videos make me remember long long ago when the best days of my life where happening and I didn't even know it. 🤘😎 thank you for sharing your videos and your knowledge dude!
Sounds like good times. It's all about the good memories. I hope you'll get a new bike soon. Ride on!
I heard about this thing when I was like 17-20 years old and here I am at 42 years old to see you've got it in your collection!
That was really cool. I didn't know most of those parts existed. The most rare part I ever owned was a Homeless stem, but I gave to a freind who's a collector. I'd like to see more of your videos. Keep it up!
Thanks, I'll try to make more videos. Took me quite a while to find my Homeless stem so those are definitely rare too.
The punisher 😮👌🏽🔥
I love Mid School BMX. Living at the other side of the world, those items you are presenting are mind blowing. Here finding a simple Mid School BMX in its original condition is already a challenge. It would be interesting that you could present more your personal bike collection in future videos. Great content and knowledge, thanks.
Thanks, I'll try to make more videos. Where I grew up we only had one bike shop that sold GTs. So for the first couple of years it was definitely a struggle to get my hands on good parts. So I know the feeling 😉
i still have my bully hotrod 1996 i also have redline flight cranks 1994 single pinch bolt and some VG parts but thats about it i think somewhere at my moms house
The Hot Rod frames are rad! I've seen some dope Hot Rod builds over the years that made me wanna buy one but so far I was able to resist. Lol... And the single pinch redline cranks and VG parts are quite sought after these days.
I think it was a bully that the fishbone pegs and gyro that I have came off. Pre 2000👍👌🇦🇺
I love how Jay Miron has long since retired from BMX but his name is still being brought up 🎉 that punisher frame would of sold like hot cakes! But im pretty sure he took that frame design to Schwinn and it became the complete hydramatic bike.
I'm sure Jay's name will always be brought up. He's one of the greatest of all time. Yes there are similarities between the Punisher and the Hydramatic and Torqueflite. Because Jay's name was on the Hydramatic but he rode the Torqueflite. Maybe I'll make a video about that some time.
@@midschoolbmx 100% you gotta now it'll be much appreciated from Canadians like myself 🇨🇦 and the BMX scene here, just gotta throw this out there thanks for keeping the mid school era of BMX alive definitely not an easy task 💪👍 just something about that era of BMX can not be replicated. Today's riding is for sure impressive but I feel a lot of riders are just carbon copies of each other and a lot of flavor of the months. During the mid school era and before it , riders really had to stand out and be different an honorable mention is Dave Osato guy was a friggin animal on that bike and just had a unique bag of tricks! But I'm also noticing some new riders are taking influence from riders like Jay Miron it's cool to see.
I still run a rbj1 himko
