Breakfast & Sapporo's BEST Coffee by the Riverside in Tokyo's Asakusa Neighborhood
Please turn on *cc* for subtitles :) Today we're having breakfast & Sapporo's famous roasted coffee at this super convenient location right by Tokyo's Asakusa area by the Sumida River. After breakfast we take a quick stroll by the riverside to see the SkyTree and Asahi building and pretty river scenery!

We stayed at two different APA hotels in Tokyo for our trip to Japan. It was good.

Giant window in the room @4:26 ! Just not a great view haha
I've been there. The staff is great and helpful. The rooms are incredibly tiny for a Westerner. A small RV would be better. The hotel is close to downtown, and there is a great park behind it. Spa pool in the basement is good but you have to go down and up elevator from room. Price is good for what you get. Stay away from Shinjuku Station at all costs. MANIC!
Quick question do you need a lot of money for Japan because I’m going in December for 2 weeks and im gonna be using my credit card on hotels and flight and I’m gonna take like $2500-$3000. Is that enough?
Personally we found almost all places were able to accept card besides smaller establishments like mom and pop restaurants, food stands or a tea shop in the middle of somewhere remote! Should be more than enough for a 2 week stay. Have a safe and fun trip Leon! 🍡
hello, if we want to use spa, do we need to put yukata and sandal from our room or just wear our casual clothes and bring yukata and sandal in a bag to the spa/onsen?
Hi there! It definitely depends on each hotel, feel free to ask the staff for any advice or recommendations, we found they always went above and beyond to try to communicate with us in both English and Japanese! I do believe you should have no problem changing in your room and going straight up to the Spa. Don't forget to bring your hotel room key! Have a fun and safe trip to Japan! 🍮

Their quality deteriorated a bit as to that of a couple of years ago.
My last hotel in Tokyo is the APA hotel in Shibuya. I'm trying a different variety of hotels on my second trip to Japan; the final one will be APA. I love how clean & efficient it always looks

Hi i want to ask,at the beginning of the video there are 2 check-in places, 1 that uses a QR code and the other one says checkin. but I didn't find the QR code on my booking, do I only use the machine that says check in?
If you don’t have a QR code you can input your confirmation number into the second machine! Or just ask staff for assistance they’re super friendly most of the time and have no issues finding your booking and checking you in too if you have your booking information or ID! Oh no sorry to hear that! We stayed at multiple APA’s in Tokyo and Osaka during our past couple trips and had a good experience each time. We found staying in less touristy areas might help too 🍮
they always have fresh and clean towels for you every night you stay with them delivered to your door without you lifting a finger! very nice hotel to stay in
The owners of the APA hotel chain are famous for their right wing revisionist views regarding Japan’s involvement in WW2 among other things. They were also famously discovered to have faked earthquake safety checks in 2007 putting guests at risk. They insist on leaving the English language propaganda in each hotel room. If you are prepared to disregard all that. They have cheap rooms.

When I stayed in one of the APA hotels, it was around 7000-9000yen per night which is about $65-$80usd now
Hi there! Typically rooms are anywhere between 50-80 USD for the double room but you can always find updated prices with google/booking websites. Hope that helps 🍮✨

Yeah, APA hotels may be cheap, but their reputation is horrible. This chain is owned by right wing extremists who entertain revisionist history views. Their hotels have also faked earthquake safety data.
