Terry Farrell also on Becker.
Deep Space Nine my favorite
On season 1 of my rewatch and the 1st episodes opening titles are just boring. I like that they added more traffic, flashing lights and the defiant.
This is the best opening. I love the music.
1:23 tough little ship
maybe it's just me but the music sounds like it's playing too fast
This was my Star Trek. I regret nothing.
The creator of this piece is Dennis McCarthy, longtime composer for 90's Trek television. He won an Emmy for it.
RUclips recommended my vid to me - that’s awesome. It’s been a minute huh? Farscape forever ❤️
it has, and yes ❤
Hi LithiumDoll, thanks for your og video, still one of the best. Has it really been nearly 20years?
I love his show so much! And this video was awesome!
amiga makes it possible
Please redo this in HD
My childhood right here. I was always mesmerized by the visuals and music of this intro. 🖖

Gave me chills almost 20 years ago,and still does! But,the slower version, few seasons prior, not this speedy one... The greatest intro music off all times!😊❤😎 Greetings from Croatia, you Trek nerds😊
If the entire concept of the Federation was to save the people of one world, it will have been worth the effort.
One of my favorite themes.❤❤❤
I was on a ship very similar. I have a few pictures, hit "shorts" & scroll.
0:45 I love this scene. Even a BIG ship like the Enterprise is small compared to Deep space nine.
Vor 17 Jahren das Video hier gesehen…was in dieser Zeit alles passiert ist in meinem Leben. Gutes wie schlechtes aber meine Liebe zu farscape wird bleiben.
Bruh i am just happened to be here and the comments are 14, 16 years old...how you guys doin?
Description: "seems more sped up than usual" that's just the version used past season 3 I think
Okay, so this video absolutely informed my early adulthood. The music, the video placement, was absolutely superb. I'm a little late to the scene in commenting, but this was beyond the pale, ultimate chef's kiss, perfect video. There are no rivals.
WWOR UPN 9 in New York
I get misty-eyed every time i hear this theme i love it (and star trek) so much😭😭😭
There are multiple, absolutely incredible and legendary Star Trek openings…but this one….this may actually be my favorite of all time.
❤❤❤🚀🚀
Wow, this video was uploaded 17 years ago! Hello from 2023
Best French horn Part! Voyager 2nd!
I like the subtle change in the intro theme as well as the background ships flying around. It really showed how far you were into the show. ❤️
The best Star Trek ever...a crime it hasent been remastered
Where did they find a studio musician who could play the French horn so beautifully. it's one of the hardest instruments to play.
My favorite Star Trek series ever. I sobbed like a baby watching the series finale
Ransom: "Just keeeeep circling."
Came looking for this. Was not disappointed.
Who else came here after the new episode Star Trek Lower Decks
UPN 9 in New York. The flagship of the real Warner Bros. network, not Tribune's lame bullshit.
Gangsta
The ONLY show I ever saw that actually got BETTER over time.
hello people from lower decks season 3 trailer :)
This is probably a shot in the dark, but does anyone remember an animated tour of the solar system from the 1990s that used the shot of the comet in the Deep Space Nine intro? It used this hand-drawn map of the solar system on aged brown paper to tie the segments together, and I think the narrator may have been Ricardo Montalbán, the actor who originally portrayed Khan in Star Trek: TOS and the second Star Trek movie. Whoever he was, he had a nice, soothing voice. The music was likewise quite soothing. It’s possible that what I’m remembering was produced for a museum rather than TV, but I remember watching it on a tape of various bits of computer animation that my dad’s friend put together for him.
"Just circle around and pretend we're in awe of the pylons. -Commander Jack Ransom, USS Cerritos
"Just keeeeeep circlin'..."
Just Copeland, no?
I would have loved one movie where every single S.T. franchise was in it. And, the way they played loose and fancy free with time travel, they could have done it! Can you imagine every Captain and their respective crews from every series in an epic battle to save the FEDERATION?
In my book deep space nine was the best intro of any trek series with TNG being the obvious second 😎
One of my favorite Farscape videos of all time. Only Birgitte’s other videos compare. This and Adiemus. Always.
1:56. Discord notification imbedded in the music lol
I literally never noticed they changed the theme up until well after the show had ended hahaha! I wonder what prompted the change. Anyway, after watching this again, it seems pretty dangerous to have the Defiant just maneuvering around the pylons like that and then flying over the station to get to the wormhole. Space stations should have a “no fly“ zone around them just like airports lol
I was far to young to appreciate this serious when it first came out, but viewing it now as an adult i can appreciate it for being the best of the Star Trek series.
