1997 Mitsubishi Legnum VR-4 COTY Walkaround
Просмотров 5 тыс.2 года назад
Here is a quick walkaround of our newest Legnum VR-4. This one is especially special because it is a limited production Car of the Year edition! This car is for sale at www.hoshimotion.com Let us know what you'd like to see us import next down in the comments!
shame about the pillars and the parking sensors otherwise very nice looking
I own a 1999 legnum vr4 type s manual converted. Still road registered and daily drive it
Im just going to say it. There are none of these cars left in good condition. If you're buying one now in 2024 be ready to spend plenty of money buying parts that almost impossible to find. I owned one for 11 years, sold it in 2017. It was so difficult and expensive to maintain and get parts for back then, it's only going to be harder now... I will say it is still the most fun car I have ever owned.❤
New Zealand has a few floating around.
I feel like it’s more like a Dad wagon which I am a Dad my self lol I always loved wagons but now that I have a 1 year old and still wanting to be in the car game I think this is awesome
I have a 97 stagea where can I get part for it in the US. Or website 😊
Jauce
Just picked one of these up cant wait for it to get here.
My only issue with my 3000GT SL is that the interior back seats are SUPER uncomfortable, they have ALL of the lumbar support. That being said I'm not gonna sit back there every, seeing as I will be driving it.
The active aero was excellent fot high speed stability. The car was designed for 200mph
I got one a couple months ago, not as clean, has a little rust but it is awesome.
how much are these going for in USA ?
Eh 10-20k depending on miles and model
Fun fact: the microphone button is actually for karaoke! You plug a mic into the AUX input, pop a cassette into the hidden Century branded tape player in the armrest and sing some tunes.
Don't leave the TV on, it really lowers it's lifetime.
My dad have one but not vr4 but did you know that from gallant mitsubishi made evo 1
You had NPR on the radio? Eeeeewwwwww….🤢🤮
Hi, Where did you do the twins rebuild? Kindly connect me to the shop... i have one... am in Tanzania
£160 to fill from Empty 280 miles to the full tank uk
I really love this car vip car ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤👌👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👏
I owned one of these when I was stationed in Japan... One of my biggest regrets was not importing it :(
Currently looking at these while overseas only twi are available on all of the island of guam hopefully i can pick one up
Might wanna keep an eye on that Radiator. When it turns brown like that it can develope cracks. It just happens with age. Beautiful Car!!
Legnums are beautiful wagons. That one looks mint🤌
I want one of those. I really want one. But I can't afford it...
I have a 95 VR4 with about 50k miles on it and lemme tell you. It feels like a new car, it drives like a new car, it looks like a new car and it MOVES like a new car. 1 billion percent one of the most underrated, under appreciated JDM cars of the 90's. Love the content man. keep it up
Other than the disappointing engine note, there is nothing from this JDM era that is better value. The NSX is an amazing car, but the prices are revolting. You can get several GTOs for the price of an NSX.
Good review! Drove an R32, R33 300zx RX7 FD, Evo 8, 2 Subaru STis, Supra MK4, MR2, S2000 and Eclipse and all I can say it is just as good. Power is available at lower rpm but becomes flat above 6k rpm. I love my GTO VR4. You just need to maintain them well and not go cheap on parts. Owned mine for 3 years now and still enjoy driving it.
The Soarer also came with a 2j gte
1jz gte
Always the "it's heavy". It's a GT. Gran Turismo. Grand Tourer. Not a track missile. Try driving a full day in 3000GT vs in any of the peers from back in the day.
great video.. on off the most underrated cars ever. Best mitsubishi car ever made
It may be similar to the Rolls Royce century... The interior and exterior.
nice, what kinda gearbox does it come stock ?
V12発
Like 2 point those lil Japanese videos clips U inc that the GTO SR which is non turbo vs the twin Turbo GT-R(SR was SL in Japan, but unlike here it was not front wheel drive it was AWD over there..yes the non turbo mid level models were AWD). Also those same Japanese videos cats made an SR(non turbo GTO) vs the GTO VR-4 turbo in which da SR lost, but kept interesting for most of the race. Never owned a GT-R but heard a lot peo who owned both the GTO VR-4 n GT-R swear that in stock mode they R basically the same car for way less $$$.
I wouldn't call it a giant killer it is a giant i would rather have one of these over a nissan FULL STOP
i found one with 29k miles for under 10 bands 😭😭 and i come across this. the gods are just telling me at this point
bruh buy that
Pls tell us u bought ittt
I want one.
We have one for sale right now! www.hoshimotion.com/autos/en-route-1998-toyota-century-v12/
😮😮😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂
how much did it cost for you to get this gem and how much time did it take. I want to get one before it becomes too much
What's up! This one is actually for sale, you can check it out here www.hoshimotion.com/autos/1997-mitsubishi-gto-mr/
Everybody talking about the car. I’m still on the part where he said he’s using an iPhone camera. The quality is great!
Cool, the MR come with tuned suspension that is a bit more sporty than the 91-95 ones (ECS suspension), ECS suspension on Tour is really comfortable. My 160k 94TT and my 220k 91 VR4 are the most noisy cars ever (from interior plastics to suspension stuff), but those have been driven right.
You turned me into a fan! Awesome car
Beautiful car
👍
FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thinking of doing up my dad's old one, hasn't been used in 5 years so hopefully I get it working again soon
Other than the wheels and grille, this looks exactly like my stagea.
nice car
I am a huge wagon fan but I have only owned Euro and American wagons. I recently decided to go JDM and I'm trying to decide between this one and the Mitsubishi. I was leaning towards the Mitsubishi but now I'm not so sure.
Have you looked at the evo wagons?
I love wagons too. I've only been able to own one (a 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T) but I really want a classic GM or Mopar wagon from the '60s or '80s. Or one of these. Unfortunately they're rare, which means they're really expensive. And I'm poor.
Super cool, so underrated 🔥
Beauty, I have a 2000 stagea and I can't get enough of it, favorite summer car by far
