With my mouse the skate doesn't come off neatly like yours. I seem to have two seperate layers of skates. Bottom one probably covers screws and it just disintegrates if I try to peel it off. Top one comes off like in your video. EDIT: I managed to get both of the layers on second try.

i don't get why the mouse wheel has holes instad of being inclosed, your asking for dust and gunk to fall in and get jammed

Can I replace the encoder without replacing the microswitch?

Can I reconnect the surfaces that you first removed? Or I need to buy new ones?

I have a Superlight gen1 without receiver. I opened it, replacing some switches, put it back together and now the sensor and the battery work but none of the button works when I plug it in my PC! I was thinking that there might be a damage on the ribbon PCB but I've checked several times and found no damaged part, also the light indicating the battery on the top shelf still flash, so there's signal sending through the ribbon cable. What exactly is the problem, may I ask if you know? P/S: I also have another Superlight mouse plugged in during the testing. So there's TWO Superlight mouse. The one I've just opened has all the button not working. The other works fine.

what do i do if the red and black wires they were soldered to the metal but they BOTH just poped off so do i put them back on with hot glue but i think that will be bad for wires and mess the whole sistem up and i dont have soldering iron

my glorious model o has died two days ago because i sprayed it with something called CRC electronic cleaner i just sprayed the shell top and the bottom and the only thing that is working on my mouse right now is the buttons the sensor is not working any help will be appreciated and no it's not about that firmware problem :/ i tried it. so my options are take it to a professional for cleaning, or get fucked.

Used this guide to replace the mouse switches- turns out you don't need to fully disassemble it to do that, just taking it apart and prodding the battery out is enough to get at all the screws you need. Thank you so much for the guide! solder wick and low melt solder worked perfectly for desoldering the mouse switches as well.

Thanks for the video, beware when unscrewing and screwing back the two buttons, the magnets on the sides will attract the littles screws making the operation quite a pain

Why would the screws be underneath the glides? Now I need to ruin my glass skates just to open it...

for those of you who's mouse wheel is scrolling the wrong way. i didn't want to take the skates off because they're too malleable would only last 1-2 cycles of disassembly, so i dumped the highest percentage isopropyl alcohol into the frame, shook it around, mashed and scrolled the wheel in the process, and dried it out with compressed air. fixed the issue without the need for disassembly

the big screws were tightened beyond comprehension and one is stripped

Mine is currently having a problem where its charging but kind of not turning on. Like earlier it was working again and then it stopped working again but it still charges and i can see thr loght from the sensor when i turn it on .... Idk what to do anymore

I know it was three years ago but how do you stick the battery back on?

i solder it below the pcb.. i dont need to risk dmging my pcb :( because i dont know where to get the replacement
