As a gospel organist/keyboardist, I know first hand the struggles musicians have trying to figure out how to perform on a high level and grasp information in a way that makes sense! The very thought of "music theory" use to scare me because it just seemed so complicated! This is something I Earnestly asked God to help me with, and he did!
This channel is dedicated to providing simple solutions to complex musical problems. I provide music theory in a way that's easy to understand and easy to implement as soon as this week! @@KingdomKeysNation Inspirational video but we're on two different pages. It's cool, ...you just have more of a worldly approach to a kingdom principle... I don't use the term "father of " lightly. Maybe he's the first to merge the blues with gospel sound...but no man can hold the title of father of gospel music.

For me I play the Diminished cause it was just easier when I was learning, now I can’t stop, I train by ear so I heard it wasn’t sitting just right but I quite frankly couldn’t find what was missing. Thanks for the clarification.

Lol i remember having my keyboard on my bed learning Yolanda’s The Battle is not yours hit. It was my first time playing in that key too. Sheesh, he brought me a mighty lone way. Lol 😂
@@micahsellers6638 Kevin was the only gospel producer on the radio that I didn't know the name of but I recognized his chords. He laid out his chords where I could hear and play it. His stuff is like standard now. Kevin Bond and Bruce Swedien really effected how I setup the matrix and bounce audio. Bruce Swedien clicked with me one day because I heard the word polarity, and "mid side" mixing. No one around me knew what those were at the time. I went to school for CSC; I ended up programming for Cakewalk DAW and making VST and DXi plugins (and producing and engineering albums). Good times.
